Borrowed cs & Mannheim Rocket - Death In High Definition / Wasps

Death In High Definition finds NZ-based producer Borrowed cs in deep waters, subjecting natural rhythms to hazy drum machine treatments. Modulation is embraced at all levels and the double cassette processing demonstrates what genuine warmth sounds like.

Wasps marks a change in trajectory for Mannheim Rocket. Recorded live to cassette, it is a sonic and compositional departure from the sheen of Canons EP and Mannheim Rocket LP. Entering the pastoral world of English composer Vaughan Williams, Wasps is a daytrip to the rave with a dank aftertaste.
