A/N: there may be a part 2 weâll see
You wake up with a crazy hangover head pounding, nauseous, almost feeling like this may be your last day.
When suddenly you check your phone to your friends blowing it up, asking about the party last night.
Youâre confused, âcause you donât recall doing anything that crazy, when all of a sudden you see a photo of you twerking on Ellie all over your feed and in the group chat.
âFuck my fucking chungus life.â
You drag your hand through your hair, not even knowing what to do. You canât say it was a misunderstanding thereâs literally photo evidence. You couldnât say it wasnât her when her very much identifiable tattoo is in the photo.
Youâre pacing around your room. Thereâs no way you were throwing ass on your rival. Yâall are both always at each otherâs necks, whether itâs about grades, attendance, who cooks better literally anything you can think of.
So you know this is her doing. Somehow, some way, she did this to fuck you up. Itâs a very Ellie thing to do.
You pick up your phone and pull up her Instagram, texting her:
âHey, did you upload that photo of us at the party?â
A few minutes go by nothing. You werenât really expecting a fast reply, but this is an emergency.
You get a text back: âWhy is it bothering you.â
You let out a scoff, typing fast now. âOf course itâs bothering me, Williams. Iâm having so many people asking me if weâre dating and that they knew we had more feelings than hating each other.â
You see she reads your message but doesnât reply back for another twenty minutes. âI swear she better be happy that we donât have school today, âcause I wouldâveâ
You get a text. âSo what? Itâs just rumors. You can get over it.â That ticked something in you.
âGET OVER IT? This is my reputation. Itâs almost like social suicide if people think weâre together. We donât mesh, like, at all.â
The next text was instant. âThatâs not what it seems like for them. They seem to be eating this up two opposite girls, both popular in their own way, who hate each other but are secretly dating. This is like their bread and butter.â
You hate to admit it, but she was right. You do see more people cheering yâall on than hating it.
âWell, Iâm going to tell them weâre not together.â
You thought that would be the last message, but then
âOr we could fake date.â
You raised an eyebrow at her proposition. âAnd why would I do that?â
ââCause you like attention and good publicity. Youâre having more of the âweirdâ kids like you because of this, and youâre trying to run for student body, so this helps you.â
You take in her words. Sheâs right you could use this to your advantage. But what does she get out of it?
âWhat do you get out of it?â
âI get stuff out of it, but thatâs not your business.â
âWhatever. Whatâs the rules for this?â
Youâre nervous, hoping she doesnât take it too far.
âWeâre doing everything normal couples do, okay?â
And of course she does but whatever.
âI guess this is the start of our secret relationship.â
âYeah. And thereâs a party this weekend. Iâll pick you up so it looks more legit, and you gotta stay with me the whole time.â
You werenât really pleased with this plan, but whatever at this point.
Youâre getting ready for the party doing your makeup, hair, choosing your outfit, which you land on a jean skirt, a cute short flannel top to match Ellie, and some Doc Martens.
You get a text from Ellie saying she pulled up, so you grab your things and head out.
Her pickup truck is parked right outside your house, along with the other cars your family owns hers stuck out like a sore thumb.
âHello,â you say, getting in the car.
ââŠuhâŠhi. You look amazing.â
âThanks⊠um, can we hit the road now?â
âWe need to go over rules again.â
You glare at her, feeling like sheâs just stalling.
âFine. We donât have to. Just donât be surprised if I kiss you or get handsy randomly.â
When she said that, your stomach turned. Youâre fidgeting in her car the first time youâve ever been in here. Itâs cozy and nice, although it still has the lingering smell of weed.
âGuess she never takes a break,â you mumbled under your breath.
âWhat did you say?â Ellie called out, catching you off guard.
âI was just saying you donât let your car rest before you smoke another blunt.â
âDo⊠you wanna try, little miss perfect?â
You thought for a second. I mean, you never tried, but one time wonât hurt. Plus, it felt like she was challenging you with that âlittle miss perfectâ comment.
Ellie almost fucked up her parking job because of your answer. âReally⊠you donât have to. I wasnât pressuring you.â
âI know. I just wanna try it out.â
Ellie finally parks correctly outside the party. She takes out a blunt and lights it. You watch her every movement.
âIâll hold it for you. Just inhale.â
You do what she tells you.
âGood job. Now blow it out.â
Her praising you fucked you up, and now youâre coughing all over the place.
âOh fuck, are you okay?â She tries soothing your back, but that doesnât stop the burning in your lungs.
âIâm fine, just give me a second.â
She lets you catch your breath before she starts laughing.
âWhatâs funny about this? I almost died.â
âI didnât think you would suck that badly.â
âOh, shut up.â You nudge her.
Ellie takes a hit of it and puts it out so yâall can head inside.
âWe should get going. Wouldnât want them to think weâre hiding away.â
You roll your eyes. You guys head into the party, and of course when yâall walk in, there are people staring but this is technically yâallâs hard launch.
You see Ellie say hi to her friends while you just follow her.
âThis place is so loud,â you mumble under your breath.
Youâve been to parties before loved them, honestly but you werenât feeling this one for some reason.
It was so loud, too many people. Your friends didnât come to this party, and you have to spend it with Ellie it sucks.
A few drinks in, you subconsciously start to drift away from Ellie, trying to find a quiet place you can stash yourself, when you stumble upon this empty room. You head inside and close the door, laying on the bed.
It was quiet, relaxing, peaceful. Although you like attention, it can get overwhelming.
Suddenly, the door opens, so you rest on your elbows to see who it is.
âHey⊠why are you up here by yourself? You had me stressed that something happened to you.â
You plop back down on the bed, seeing it was Ellie.
âI just needed to get away. Too many people.â
âWow, look at Miss Attention wanting quiet time.â
You laugh a little, lying on your side so you can see her.
âWell, youâre kinda fucking it up with your presence.â
âAm I now? Well, you havenât yelled at me and told me to leave. Seems like you want me here.â
You stare at Ellieâs side profile, not saying anything.
Ellie looks at you then at your lips.
Before either of you can stop it, your bodies are moving toward each other lips touching, soft, gentle. Then it starts to get faster.
Ellieâs on top of you, kissing your lips till it bruises. Once she stops to get air, sheâs breathing heavy and staring at you.
You get shy and cover your mouth, blushing heavily.
âWe should probably go. Itâs getting late.â
ââŠwait. I gotta make sure everyone knows youâre mine.â
You feel your heart pumping as Ellie goes down on your neck, leaving hickeys. You cover your mouth, holding in your moans.
âSorry, babe. I just had to make sure they know.â
You cover up your face, muffling your words a little.
She kisses your hands covering your face.
âYou know you donât.â
