update: found out that you can reunite the kitty family postgame so I flogged purgatory for two hours straight to make it happen and then cried so hard during their reunion dialogue that I had to take a nap immediately. fantastic game, highly recommend.

update: friend lent me her Switch for a day to make my own island. I am now roommates with Hatsune Miku and Herobrine, Shang Tsung bagged my OC Mizuki within seconds of being created, and V from Devil May Cry is crushing on me. 20/10 game. may be purchasing my own switch soon.
