Gilmore Girls Prompt 4

The reader shows up at Luke's because Rory and Lorelai told her to meet them there at 5. Its a blizzard outside and she is shivering violently. She greets Jess and he responds cooly in turn, though asks why shes there in a white out without gloves or a scarf. She tells him she was supposed to meet her mom and sister when her pager beeps telling her that they are spending the night in Hartford. She remains shivering because Jess tells her to wait and luke will take her home. A few minutes of letting her shiver, jess brings her coffee the way she likes, wrapping his coat around her, taking her hands to warm them up. They eventually start talking until they fall asleep curled up together at the table, coffee untouched when Luke walks in and simply turns off the lights, going upstairs.
