i wish seidou interacted with haise more before kaneki got his memory back, tbh. like, outside of my obvious bias, takizawa as a seed of doubt in haises loyalty to the ccg is fascinating. they both underwent similar things. but to haise, the ccg is his savior, the ones to pull him from being a monster, but to takizawa, the ccg abandoned him, tossed him aside. and its not fair, is it? haise sasaki was kaneki ken, seidou knows, hes been told, over and over by eto and kanou and its not FAIR that haise gets to live the life HE wanted without any fucking repercussions while he tried to play hero and now hes a monster. and i really really think emphasizing the owl as a former investigator and seeing how that affects akira couldve fucked with haise a lot more. like—takizawa as a dark mirror of what he could be. and haise fearing his own memories more as a result. takizawa constantly taunting haise with that. yknow?
