I've been passively working on this collection of drawings based on music lyrics for one of my yet-unreleased dongs, Album of Scars. This portrait painting in cheap acrylics is titled, "I thought I knew what was best."

Quick ink illustration of a woman I saw on Instagram. There is something about drawing people from photos that feels like cheating or stealing, but it's always fun to get a good reaction from the model or photographer, so maybe it's ok.
Behind the scenes of a music video shoot. The video and song weren't particularly successful, but I still appreciate the creativity behind the project.
My girl, Ruby, was the best dog model I've ever photographed. She was a boxer-rottweiler cross, otherwise known as a Boxweiler :) Her temperament was boxer at home but a rottie in the streets! I miss her every day and honestly, every time I dogsit any dog who doesn't automatically behave like her.
For more of Ruby, check our Unsplash (or our old IG page) where the photos are free to use for whatever you need.
Behind the scenes photography for a music video featuring some exotic birds. I was asked to take photos at this shoot by one of the cinematographers. He turned out to be a total creep and didn't bother to pay me for the work, but I like the pics I took, so I'm willing to bite the bullet.
Next time I won't be handing over any rolls of film or files before receiving a paycheck or at the very minimum, photo credit. Honestly, it's crazy to me that people are willing to use creative material without giving credit, but it happens all the time.
Anyway, it was nice to experiment with this film. I really enjoy the warm and vibrant colors that came out of this set. For all the photos, check my photography behance.
