Road to GOYO: The Mabinaldo Divorce
Epy Quizon as Apolinario Mabini in Heneral Luna
❝ Oh, my friends, my friends forgive me— that I live and you are gone. There’s a grief that can’t be spoken, there’s a pain goes on and on .
Oh, my friends, my friends, don’t ask me what your sacrifice was for. Empty chairs at empty tables, where my friends will sing no more.❞
Send me GIF requests, if you want! :) I like making these.

BAKIT?? BAKIT HANGGANG MMFF MAY BAHID NG POLITIKA?
Akala ko ba pagpapamalas ito ng sining at obra ng mga Pinoy pero bakit may ganito?
We, the Heneral Luna fandom, surely remember the struggle to keep quality independent films in theaters. We, with the rest of the nation, succeeded. The success was hope: perhaps, the PH mainstream cinema scene was changing. For the better. Heneral Luna didn't just revolutionize contemporary culture and history. It also revolutionized the Philippine film industry. Now, Honor Thy Father is try trying to do the same. Please go out and support the movie, create clamor on social media with #DemandforHonorThyFather or heck, message their Facebook page. Let them know you're not amused, and that it's high time for the film festival that carry the capital's name to evolve.

And since war is the last resource left to us for the salvation of our country and our own national honor, let us fight while a grain of strength is left us; let us acquit ourselves like men, even though the lot of the present generation is conflict and sacrifice.

We Can Be Heroes
In Rogue’s Cinema issue, Gabbie Tatad talks to producers E.A. Rocha and Nando Ortigas and director Jerrold Tarog, the men behind this year’s local box-office hit Heneral Luna, about the film’s production and runaway success.
