Synopsis: Short drabble pre-Angelito. Manuel and Paco share thoughts the night before they leave for Cabanatuan.

Wala nang kahit anumang ilaw ang makikita sa paligid ng mga kubo sa Bagbag, liban sa isa. May munting apoy sa labas ng kubo na kinalalagyan ng opisina ni Luna. Isang sundalo ang nakaupo at nakatitig dito, hulas ngunit tutok ang mga mata sa siga sa lalim ng iniisip. Ang kanyang kaibigang hindi rin makatulog ay nakaupo sa kanyang tabi, yakap ang kanyang mga binti sa ginaw ng hangin. Tahimik silang nagtabi nang ilang minuto bago nagsalita si Manuel.

“Anong plano mo?”

Misnan lang niyang makitang ganito kaseryoso si Paco, at ‘di naman niya maikaila na may sarili siyang mga pag-aalinlangan. Ngunit ni minsan ay 'di siya nag-alinlangan na paniwalaan ang mga pinaninindigan ng Heneral. At alam niyang ganoon din si Paco, kaya naman nabigla siya na ayaw nitong matuloy kinabukasan sa Cabanatuan.
