➵ BIOGRAPHY
Five centuries of life is quite a lot to remember, so Valerie does little to try. She remembers vague flashes, bits of her history on the planet. She remembers watching the empire of humanity fall flat on its face - recalls that she once used to consume souls at a shattering rate. She knows she has never loved, never cared to connect to anyone or anything until now. Her whims are effervescent, shimmering and gone in the same breath. As for the last two decades, she has belonged in Calamity. She has made some friends, some lovers - some pets. Her ultimate goal has always been ingrained in her own continued survival. Growth. Power - but not over others. Her own strength is a testament to what she has endured - what little she can recall. She and Death are friends, having met each other many times over the centuries. Her most recent dance with a reaper came at the hands of a betrayer - a fae who betrayed her experiments to an avenging angel, who trapped her. It tortured her for a year, keeping her clinging to life - before it was recalled back to its home. She crawled her way out of its pit and spent an additional year in recovery, secluded from those who had come to know her. For now, she is content running Cobalt Eclipse, a nightclub open to all species as long as the war and disagreements are left at the door. She thrives on wrath, lust, and vanity - which she regularly consumes from her patrons, which keeps her well stocked.
➵ ʜᴇᴀᴅᴄᴀɴᴏɴꜱ
COBALT ECLIPSE: Valerie renovated (read: forced humans to renovate) this nightclub in the West side for her own personal playground. It is open to all races with one very simple rule: The war stops at the door. For any violators of the rule, there are some interesting punishments curated by the owner that depend solely on the severity of the violation. It's rumored that there's a werewolf hanging from the ceiling in her loft above the club. He's been there for about a decade.
SINS: She often swings wildly between wrath and lust - occasionally she dabbles in greed and envy but she finds those to be the least intriguing. Vanity is her primal sin, but she doesn't acknowledge it as such - instead, finds that the first two are her favorites to play with. She has been known to arrive to a function solely to test the waters and see just how rowdy she can make it before she leaves.
SOULS: Her well is deep, and she uses them sparingly now. In her younger years, when it was easier to acquire them, she would be rather frivolous with them - which lead to quite a few times where she nearly fizzled out of existence. She became wiser with age, but does still have the occasional I'm-going-to-splurge.

HIM & I: DEMITRI @oftragxdy - Valerie fell in love with Demitri rather quickly. Everything about him entranced her from the moment they met. The trouble is, their relationship is often wrought with fights that are sometimes physical. Their dominant personalities clash in many ways, and their possessive nature of the other is a force to be reckoned with. Despite this, there is nothing she wouldn't do if he asked it of her. DEVIL'S BACKBONE: JASPER && KIA @oftragxdy & @mad-d0x - Who says a demon can't have friends? Jasper is Valerie's special little pet, and Kia is her best friend. She is a little more than friendly with the pair of lovers- and if she is not in her loft, beside Demitri, she can be found entangled in the arms of these two. She has stripped flesh from bone at the mere whisper of untoward behavior to the boys. POPULAR MONSTER: LENUS @wickedxhell - Valerie unwittingly made an enemy of Lenus when she destroyed his sister and her hunting crew in 2130. He is, undoubtedly, not her first enemy - nor her last. Its a good thing she likes a challenge.
