Even more, her dad always painted the right hand –picture perfect, precise with a steady hand that chiseled the wood of her crib. The left would be a slapdash m e s s. Just spilled milk; add on to the pile of discarded cotton, she’d erase her mistake afterward. Still, Juno found it tedious.

Is anyone else just instantly endeared by people chillin’ on surfaces that aren’t made for sitting?
