Q: Do you review all crypto announcements on Bitcointalk.org ?

A: No, I generally don’t review a coin until there is enough information provided by the announcer. Sometimes this is never and sometimes the coin is at too early a stage for a review to be fair. Some coins are so poor I can’t bring myself to waste the time - in this case I will post this on the announcement itself.

I have reviewed the recently launched coin (using my own personal system) and my results are as follows:

This coin has a “Class B” rating based on the information in the announcement.

The explanation of this rating (see “Scoring” link above) is:

Class B (score 40 to 69%)

Keep an eye on this coin and monitor. This coin has good proposed features but could find it difficult to compete with similar use coins. If ICO this is less likely to be a good investment but may be worth a gamble if escrow is available or you get your coins straight away. If POW, this may be worth mining if you have spare, cheap capacity. Trading opportunities limited to short term on pumps at least initially but could be good if launched on a mainstream exchange.

The review assessed information and parameters in the announcement only and included such things as;

Type of coin, coin or dev website, social media content, Dev team and claimed experience, real world use, source code and / or actual wallet availability, information about dev status or reputation from members posting replies within the announcement.

The actual score is 61.18 %

Additional notes: Nice website for coin, web and windows wallet on pre-sale launch, coins are issued upon payment, possible real world uses and a good startup roadmap.

This coin has many features that could make it successful. If the roadmap is followed and the dev stays dedicated to the community it could bring a long term return.

This coin has a borderline “Class B” rating based on the information in the announcement.

I have reviewed the recently launched coin (using my own personal system) and my results are as follows:

This coin has a borderline “Class B” rating based on the information in the announcement but just as easily be a high "Class C". The coin is worth keeping an eye on and collecting some of those free distribution coins - you never know.

The explanation of this rating (see “Scoring” link above) is:

Class B (score 40 to 69%)

Keep an eye on this coin and monitor. This coin has good proposed features but could find it difficult to compete with the glut of other coins. If ICO this is less likely to be a good investment but may be worth a gamble if escrow is available or you get your coins straight away. If POW, this may be worth mining if you have spare, cheap capacity. Trading opportunities limited to short term on pumps at least initially but could be good if launched on a mainstream exchange.

Class C (score 25 to 39 %)

Poor quality coin, not really worth any effort or investment. Likely to be dumped as soon as it hits an exchange and then slowly slide into oblivion. ICO coins at this level should be considered an extremely high risk investment. If POW it may be worth early mining with spare capacity with a possible profit in a dump if it hits and exchange

Do not invest. ICO’s at this level are are likely to be scams. POW not worth it as it is not likely to ever get to an exchange. High risk of code failure, developer disappearing and / or loss of BTC. These generally are poorly presented and created clone of a clone type coins.

If POW if may also be worth mining for a possible future profit. The actual score is 72.22 % Features of note: Good Escrow, Well formed proposed real world use, claimed and well proposed external income streams. I have recently decided to make public my reviews of new altcoin announcements made on https://bitcointalk.org

Up to now I have done two reviews (which I will repeat post here) which were posted as replies on the announcements themselves. Unfortunately, as I suspected would happen, one of them was removed by moderation.
