posting my writing here so it doesn't get lost on my main and to just have it out in the open and not trapped in my phone forever <3

does it really?

I can just fall again

passion burns like forests

and there's so many left to burn

months of heat suddenly

gone and just when

you find new nests

there's more ash for another urn

evil, careless, desperate

say what you want

I just can't bear the cold

I'm nothing without something

among the flames I sit

among the woods I haunt

chasing what maybe I could hold

and burning everything again, everything

I think I had a dream about you last night

we sat at the dinner table with friends and talked all night

they shared a picture of us online and tagged us and you were still blocked

but nothing was wrong we just talked

after dinner it was just us in a dark room

I think we hugged and it was bittersweet with a hopeful mood

it made me think things could get better and we could be friends again

I know things won't get better and we won't be friends again

I think I just don't know how to let go

you've been on my mind so much and I don't know how to let go

it's almost a comfortable crushing weight

yearning for someone who hurt me, yeah I guess that's just my fate

fallen angel

why did you hurt me when you fell from heaven?

I see you everywhere I go

they all have your hair and your wings and your burden

was there something I should have known

was there anything that could have saved us of our sin

each day another wound shown

with even more and more bubbling beneath the skin

their name is a stain

and I can't get it out I can't get it out
