aaron’s self deprecation . the irony . the johnbert parallels , their drunk fight , oh that’s right you “didn’t know” . laughing along at this little jokey joke at the foundation of their relationship . fully aware that aaron trusted him and let him pull the wool over his eyes about katie . robert surprising him by being there for him with gordon , stepping up , who knew he had it in him . then all of it comes crashing down when he cheats on him with rebecca , after shutting down aaron’s suspicion and “paranoia” . and years later he’s shutting down his suspicions about kev , now serena . always right [ROBERT SCOFFS]
