I have no interest in talking to you about my personal problems and I really don’t care about yours unless you can be some type of danger to me. Okay, but you have no idea how happy I am that there’s finally a patient other than Riley that isn’t like... years younger than me. I no longer feel old! I mean, I still feel old but just... not as old. Welcome to Second Hope, Sebastian. While having sex isn’t like, against the rules or anything here, I do ask that if you need to get hold of anything like... you know... protection and stuff... you just ask someone. Me, if you have to... Sex is all good and grand, but only when it’s safe. And that’s my ramble for the day! If you need someone to chat to without any pressure of a proper therapist, I’m here to listen and provide hot chocolate if need be.
Has anyone tried the new desserts in the cafeteria yet? They’re seriously so good, I think I’m in heaven.Better than the stuff they serve at my college, that’s for sure... Which, speaking of, I passed an exam in! One step closer to full time therapist!

Where do I even begin with this? Okay, so as some of you know I’ve dealt with mental health issues in the past… But, due to seeing something that hit very close to home, I got triggered into a relapse. It became really hard for me to keep working here, so I left for a couple weeks and tried being on an out-patient plan but it seems I need a lot more help than that…
So, what I’m trying to say is, I’m back! Just now I’m a fellow patient, rather than your nurse. If anyone needs me I’ll be hiding in my room.

I um, on that subject, though.... I was going to ask how you, y’know, coped with that stuff at work... I have a few... underlying medical conditions of my own that I can’t seem to handle particularly well...But uh... well... Yeah.
Nothing makes you feel worse when your brother sends you a letter to make me feel better and I can’t read most of it…

So… what is there to do around here for someone that’s managed to exhaust the music room to the point of losing their voice and being told they need to give other patients a try on the piano?
Well, resting your voice is probably a good idea. There’s a pool, the dance studio, a gym? Even just going for a walk around the gardens can be entertaining.

Mack hadn’t taken on any new patients in a very long time, and so getting into the swing of suddenly having anastasia coming by was taking her some time to get used to. Of course, she didn’t have very much time at all to get used to it, and so she had launched pretty much straight into getting what she needed. She wasn’t a fan of studying a patients file before they’d even met, and so though she’d collected it, she’d only flicked through to see if there was anything she was supposed to avoid talking about or mentioning. It was while she was flicking through absently that she heard a noise outside her office. “Come in” She called over, climbing up from her desk to move over to where the armchairs were set up.

I’m not talking
If I talk to you, I get to still get my fish for my room, right? I feel like I don’t want to trust anyone just so they can turn on me and call me crazy. That’s what my last therapist did and look what it’s done for me. Nothing but landing me here. I’ll see you but don’t expect miracles. I don’t want to talk to any male staff. So, do you have any office or something? Like I said don’t expect any miracles.
Well, that you’d have to ask Dr Schuester about, but I’m fairly sure he’ll allow you your fish if you prove to be compromising and making an effort to get better. I’m not going to call you crazy. Belie me, if there’s one thing I’ve stood by in all my time interning here, it’s that no one here is crazy. So, yes I do have an office. It’s where most of the are, and just look for the sign that says “Kiara Allen” on it, and come on in. I don’t have anything booked in until much later.
When am I ever going to use Geometry? In my whole entire life? When is it ever going to be useful to me?
Ooh, are you doing those distance learning classes? I’ve always wondered how those worked. We’re told to encourage patients to do it, but never how they work. It’s kind of ridiculous, really.
I’m not talking
The therapists here thinks it’s time I start talking and not hide in my room. I’m not talking to any of them.
You know, therapy isn’t nearly as scary as people make out. It can be as simple as coming by for a session and just getting a feel for who you’re with. A chat over coffee or tea, a discussion about habits. Of course there’ll be a professional side to it as well, but no one is going to get anywhere with anyone thy don’t trust, right? So, really, it’s probably more about you getting out there and finding someone you feel you can confide in who can help you.
