A new job and some general unfortunate life things have made it difficult for me to keep up with general online nerding over the last few months, but as our fandom knows too well, nobody’s gone as long as there’s uhhh... no body. This is probably a bit after-the-freakout, but I just wanted to do a quick graphic to announce that I’m still alive.

Fluffy Marlana Headcannon Fluff

After the events of the Red Dragon arc leave her hospitalized and presumed-widowed, Molly is visited by Alana, who offers her a psychiatrically-qualified ear if she needs somebody to talk to. She agrees, and informal therapy grows into friendship.

Margot and Alana drop by whenever they’re in the area, and on one such visit, Alana falls completely in love with a litter of puppies Molly’s recently acquired. She remembers growing up with a gentle old German Shepherd, and eagerly suggests bringing one home as a surprise for Verger Baby Toddler. Margot is hesitant, but how can she say no when Alana can do the puppy eyes just as adorably as the puppies themselves?

As soon as she’s agreed, Margot is filled with a dread she can’t bear to put into words. Mason as a toddler - pudgy fingers and sharp nails, pinching her. The first time their father took them to a slaughterhouse, Mason’s laughter. No fond memories of childhood pets for her, just a sick feeling she still gets whenever she sees a hamster cage. Their son looks so much like Alana, but what if, with a helpless creature in front of him, she suddenly gets to see the influence of his biological father? All the way home, her head is caught in a cycle of dredging up terrible memories, then hating the part of herself that will always fear that her gentle, friendly child is a genetic time bomb.

...But of course, when introduced to the puppy, he doesn’t pinch him or pull his ears. In silent wonderment, he sinks his little hands into the warm, soft fur and giggles when he licks his hand. What should they name him? “Spiderman!” he squeals, without missing a beat. “Don’t you like that name, mommy?” he asks, looking at Margot in concern. She hadn’t even noticed she was crying.

HOW?! It is as if you saw into my head when I was drawing this, and then put the colours on paper in a way that’s even better than what I pictured! How did you realize my design so perfectly? Are you Will Graham?

How did I miss Hannibal biting The Dragon’s goddamn throat out like a fricking animal?!

You know that show about the two guys who work together to solve crimes, and develop an unlikely-but-inseparable relationship? And one of them is kind of antisocial but has almost superhuman powers of deduction? And preposterous cheekbones are involved? And one of the seasons ends on a cliffhanger involving what should be a fatal fall? (It has a bit of a following on this site, you’ve probably come across it)

Anyway, Fannibals, fans of the other show like that had to wait two years to see their cliff-faller -hanger resolved (and let’s not even talk about the wait for the upcoming season.) If they can survive it, so can we!

Who I predict is going to die in the Hannibal season finale

All of us.

We’ve been promised more Hannigram than our feeble hearts can handle. Bedelia will be wearing a dress with critical levels of black lacyness. There is a 100% chance of dangerous exposure to adorable murder wife and Verger behbeh family dynamics. And that’s just the stuff we know about. One way or another, this finale is going to wreck us all, but at least we’re going down together.
