maddietaylor: Today is a bed kind of day.
“Dude, I don’t care how much you offer to pay me or how big of a fan your boyfriend is, I’m not going to punch him in the face so he can have bragging rights,” Surge said, looking at the person in disbelief as they finally walked away. “Wow, people are extra fucking weird today,” he muttered, not realizing that there was another person next to him.
Maddie overheard the conversation and pressed her lips together to stop herself from laughing at how dumb some people are. She walked over to the man, although she didn’t recognize him it seemed like he was well known. “People are so desperate,” She chuckled softly as she looked over at him.
camIam: Taking last min Halloween bash candy requests...aaand go!
camIam: aka what's your favorite candy, yo?
madt: Snickers... always Snickers.

“I don’t like hot cider. I mean I struggle with hot drinks in general. Me and tea have a love/hate relationship and I drink a lot of my coffee with ice. Hot chocolate is like the one thing that I really can deal with pleasantly. I like my cider cold or alcoholic,” he joked, knowing that despite saying that if they got there and she wanted him to try the hot cider, then he’d do just that. He’d do just about anything for her if she asked. “Oh it will be dope. Please say dope one more time,” he replied with a smirk before laughing softly. “Two? Jesus, that didn’t sound like you were very excited. I’m sure you did great though. You always do,” he assured her, meeting her eyes for a moment as he smiled sweetly. “Ah okay, I think I found a good one, all the yelp reviews seem legit. It’s like a half hour away. Is that cool?”
“That’s dope,” Maddie stuck her tongue out. “We can agree to disagree about cider,” The woman teased. “Sounds great to me. I don’t mind a bit of a drive as long as it’s worth it,” Maddie smiled. “Oh, and you definitely need to get food on the way... I’m starving,” She told him as they walked out the door. “My program is brutal,” Maddie sighed, but then shrugged her shoulders. “C’mon loser... we are loosing sunlight buddy,“ She looked up at her best friend and gave him a huge grin.

“If you only read the books that everyone else is reading, you can only think what everyone else is thinking.” ― Haruki Murakami
kareem-salia:
“Oh yeah, you should do stand up. I’d totally come. You’d kill it up there,” he joked, nodding at her question. “Not even for five minutes. Though if it’s gonna make your head explore, we can keep your books in the backseat for an emergency situation,” he joked. “Good, cause so am I. Sweater and hoodie weather, a good playlist for a fall drive, the best company,” he said and pointed at himself then her before grinning, “Plus i’ve been dreaming about drinking cider. But not hot cider, that shit is gross. Okay let me find the place that’s closest,” he said and sat on the chair at Skyler’s desk to google on his phone before reaching for his coffee. “How were classes yesterday? Didn’t you have a quiz or something?”
“I’m down for most things,” Maddie winked and gave a big smile. “Let’s do it,” She continued and gave a fake smile. “Maybe that’s a good idea... just for safety reasons,” The woman smirked. “You don’t like hot cider?” She wondered with big eyes. Then she shrugged. “I like my cider anyway so it’s not a problem honestly,” She gave in because it simply wasn’t that big of a deal whether he liked hot cider or not. “Let me know what you find... it’s gotta be dope,” Maddie said the last year like it was forced or as if an innocent kid was saying the word because they had heard someone else say. Maddie chuckled softly. “Two. Not one but two quizzes,” She sighed.
maddietaylor: @skylerridley dragged me to the beach today. Something about the last nice day of the year or something. It was freezing.

supremekareem: It isn’t fall until you go to a pumpkin patch and find some pumpkins that you and @maddie–taylor will use to learn that you have zero idea how to carve pumpkins
maddietaylor: It was definitely an experience. We nailed the ‘scary pumpkin’ look. 🏴☠️

“Really, really. It’s practically an early Christmas gift. I’m not really questioning it too much.” He took out his phone to check Instagram as she went to change, letting out a soft laugh at her words. “Oh you got jokes, huh? You think you’re funny? He jumped to his feet and dipped his shoulder down to put her over his shoulder, spinning her around for a second with a laugh before he sat her down in the chair he had been occupying. “That just means you have to have fun with me today. And not spend it all studying. I mean the weather is nice, my car has a full tank of gas.” He swayed on his feet a bit as he gave her a wide grin. “I think we should go apple picking. Or pumpkin picking. Or anything that involves some kind of fall activity and me posing by some trees looking real cute.”
When she was sent over her shoulders, loose laughter left her lips that she couldn’t control. She always felt so happy and careless about Kareem, it was contagious. “I’m a comedian obviously,” The teasing continued. When he made a comment about no studying her eyes opened wide as she looked at him. “Not even for five minutes?” Kareem knew how serious Maddie was about her studies. “I’m in the fall mood,” She told him. “Pumpkin sounds like fun.”
kareem-salia:
“You don’t have to change if you don’t want to, you’re making that sweater look ridiculously comfy. I’m gonna start walking around in a big seater and nothing else,” he teased as he sat at the desk chair to stretch his legs out after putting the food down near her. “Also I came to tell you that my second practice got cancelled today so I have have a whole fucking afternoon free. You believe it?”
Maddie stuck out her young. “Fine well at least i’ll add some leggings,” She teased and disappeared into the bedroom for a minute. “Really?” The woman poked her head out the window and wide-eyed Kareem. “That’s awesome!” She yelled as she disappeared again for a moment and then popped out, but this time with pants. “That’s awesome! I mean not for your team because you guys need practice, but it is for me,” The woman smiled cheekily.
“Knock knock, I come bearing gifts in the form of cereal and hash browns from the dining hall.” Kareem stood in the doorway with a grin, already in his basketball warm ups, having been up since 4am. “I figured you might sleep in so I thought I’d at least make sure you ate. Skyler let me in. I have coffee too.”
@maddie–taylor
Maddie was mid-yawn when he spots Kareem. “You know me so well,” The woman replied and smiled at her best friend. “Mmmm coffee,” She continued as she took the warm beverage. Her over-sized pajamas hung off her body as she gave Kareem an apologetic smile, “Just one minute... I swear i’ll change quick.”
cliolucas:
Clio was surprised when she realized the girl was talking to her. She wasn’t staring, exactly, but it was hard not to notice the girl rush into the store. “Sorry,” Clio responded. “Just, like, you okay? Most people don’t really rush around in a panic.” She eyed the copy of On the Road in her hand, seeing some of the damage. “Though, nice choice in destruction. Jack Kerouac sucks.”
Maddie looked up and regretted being so rude. “True,” She nodded at the woman. Although her next comment didn’t have her very happy, she wasn’t going to continue arguing because that got her nowhere. “Right...” The woman simply said as she picked up the book and examined it. “Any other recommendations?”
