love how in this episode the aemond and aegon scenes are them having a pissing contest in their minds over the other being the favourite of their mother meanwhile alicent is in the castle like helaena i love you the most please abort this baby like i wish i aborted your brothers

it's just so so sad because is alicent is trying to spare helaena here: you don't have to bear a child forced onto you who will be treated as nothing more than a pawn. i've lived that miserable existence, with all of her children being products of marital rape and otto using her as a means to an end when she was just a girl still. but she goes about it by aggressively gripping helaena's face, frightening her in much the same way otto did when he warned her about this now self-fulfilling prophecy, and imposing her will over helaena and her body by seeking to force an abortion on her...
