Tennessee Williams, “We Have Not Long to Love.”
Crying alone? No no no, light a candle and cry in the company of gods.
the thing is there’s no reward for suffering. you go through things and its hard and you struggle but at the end of it all no one pats your back and says well done. there is no award, no compensation prize, no medal, no recognition. you have to wake up and go to work and live your life as a normal person and that’s it
"it's all in your head" correct! unfortunately I am also in there
Mental illness is all in your head in the same way that prostate cancer is all in your ass.
this person wins everybody else go home
it’s okay to say ‘this isn’t for me’ or ‘I’m not happy here’ and leave… you don’t have to wait for things to be really bad
“You’d lose your mind trying to understand mine.”

Factotum by Charles Bukowski, 1975.
WHY YOU SHOULD WRITE HORRIBLY:
1. You’ll never write anything if you don’t
invite lady hestia
for a cup of tea
on a thrifting adventure
to declutter and clean with you
for a coloring session
to make sweet snacks with you
to sing with you while you wash the dishes
to make a paper flower bouquet from old books
to try photography on a sunny day
to embroider an old t-shirt
for a bracelet-making session and make one for her
to play a board game with you
to paint candles with you
for a candle-gazing meditation
to spend a lazy morning with you
to help you pick a new book
sometimes you have to let certain feelings just pass through you. you feel it, then you let it go. you don’t hold on and you don’t act on it. it’s just visiting you for a moment and doesn’t have to mean much more
