I'm Leigh, the face behind Made By Leigh handmade jewellery. An Isle of Skye born Scottish lass now living on the dramatic west Wales coastline 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 🌊

Designing & creating have always been passions of mine, starting my early career as a graphic & web designer after completing my degree at the University of Greenwich.

In later life I turned to silversmithing as a hobby while I learnt & practiced my new skills, before launching Made By Leigh in 2019. 

I use traditional silversmithing techniques & tools to handcraft all my jewellery & silverwear. I never expected blowtorches, saws & hammers to be my obsession; but here we are! ⚒️

All my pieces are made entirely by hand from 925 sterling silver, using ethical sea glass collected from local Welsh beaches & semi precious gemstones sourced from responsible suppliers.

Based on the rugged Welsh coastline I’m inspired by the sea & the beautiful landscape, with many of my pieces featuring authentic Welsh sea glass & recycled silver making my handmade jewellery as unique & environmentally friendly as possible  💍
