it is a bit strange to see people online saying things that basically amount to celtic/minoritised languages are inherently leftist/gay/etc because like i live in wales and you will meet first- (and second-) language welsh speakers who are conservatives. irl it's just like a language that people live their lives through, and some of those people are right-wingers and do not like me as a trans, disabled descendant of immigrants. and then you go online and everyone is saying how celtic languages are only for queer neurodivergent people.
