Interview my OC about questions that has no easy answer.
1. Which should be saved – a bus full of innocent lives or a loved one?
2. You meet a man who has killed someone and done time for it before. Does this factor into how you treat him? Will he ever truly escape that sin?
3. If you could jump back through time to save a loved one’s life, would you? Despite what it might to do the timeline? To everyone else? Do you believe it is their fate to die regardless?
4. You have a secret you swore not to reveal. But this secret is the only thing that would prove your innocence in a separate matter. Is it worth risking your own well-being for the secret? Or would you betray the trust given to you?
5. Is it better to hurt others before they hurt you or let yourself be walked all over and hurt by others?
6. If you tell the truth, an evil person gets to walk away free. If you lie, you may be able to send them away like they deserve. Is honesty worth more than justice?
7. You have the key to immortality in your hands. But not for free. If you want it, as a price, your worst enemy also gains immortality. Is it worth it?
8. If you could gain as much money as you want for losing a sense, would you do it?
9. Can people be held accountable for things people close or related to them did or are they innocent?
10. If a lot of people, possibly innocent people, have to die in order to make a real change, is it worth it? Can you live with their deaths even if it helps people in the present?
11. Imagine there is a beast that craves attention. If you ignore it, despite being deadly, it will leave you alone. Could you live like that? Even if it possibly attacked others? Would you try and challenge something that unknown?
12. If someone else stole something and you stole it back is that a good deed, a bad deed or one of equal worth? Are you better than the original thief?
13. Could you sacrifice yourself for the good of everyone else?
14. What of love? Say you discover your lifelong crush on another has finally been reciprocated… but they are currently dating a family member or a dear friend the crush feels responsible to honour. Do you force the break up? Date on the side? Bottle it up forever?
15. Is lying to others to gain their approval more important than being genuine and hated?
16. Have you ever contemplated killing someone? Who and why? Would you ever act on it? Are you frightened you might?
17. Have you ever gotten sheer joy out of hurting someone else, either physically or mentally? To whom and why? Did it scare you?
18. Have you ever done something morally wrong? If it’s morally wrong do you regret it?
19. What is more likely a thought to you – that this world is wrong or that you are wrong?
20. Are there people in this world who, no matter how much time and penitence is given, should never be forgiven?
21. Are there people in this world you simply think the world would be better without? If you could erase them out of existence without physically murdering them, would you?
22. How do you feel about having an intimate relationship with someone you don’t love? What if they love you in return? Does that make you feel guilty?
23. Could you ever become your own hero? Is that a role you can fulfil or is it something you look to others for?
24. How do you feel about tears? Are they cowardly and weak? Do you cry? Would you consider that shameful?
25. What is more important to you? An idea of yours being used and appreciated or the credit for that idea beings yours and yours alone?
26. Is your personal happiness more important than anything else in the world? Than fame? Than the happiness of others?
27. How far would you go to achieve a dream or ideal? Does it matter who suffers? Does it matter if you suffer?
28. How long would you wait for the one you love? A year? Fifteen years? Forever? Could you honestly be loyal to an unfulfilled love?
29. Is genius equal to hard work? Does a genius deserve praise for doing well without effort? Are they above us?
30. Do we live in a world of parallels? Can there be no hope without grief? No happiness without suffering? Or is a utopia possible?
31. What is more important to you? Being respected and praised by your elders or being looked up to and championed by those younger or of the same age?
32. If you could choose to remove certain feelings such as anger, confusion, sadness, would you remove them?
33. If you could wipe certain memories from your head, would you? Why would you? What memories?
34. What path appeals to you more? An exciting dream that leaves you possibly penniless and alone or a drab existence where you have steady success.
35. Is every person in this world wholly unique or can they be categorized? Can they be grouped and mentally dissected? Are you just another sheep in another flock or are you the sole unique soul?
“How would an attachment lead to falling into the dark?” Bloo shook her head, bottom lip pushing into a confused pout. It was only getting harder for her to understand. She frowned, looking up at her mother quietly. “Are people…in the future…going to treat me differently?’
"Im not so sure, little one, i suppose...when you can no longer look at things objectivly, you start falling towards the dark," she explained the best she could. "...you loom human, just a bit red...no one will see the sith unless they want to, but...you are the daughter of a hero, you will always be treated differently, in both a positive and a negative way...but it is up to you on how you take it...and if you will allow others to hold power over you."
It was easy to recognize the bit of the Jedi Code her mother said, but she still didn’t understand. Her expression grew confused, “But we’re not dark side!” She was quick to interrupt her mother before quieting back down to listen, her frown growing. “I don’t get it…”
Zesia hugged her. "I know, attachments are something the jedi don't want, they don't want the possibility of someone falling to the dark, your father and I walk a very thin line, but I assure you, we will be unapologetic when expressing our love for you."
why dont the jedi/sith like sith purebloods?
because they are afraid of what we are capable of. because they are terrified of the thought of their genocide coming back to bite them in the ass. because we will take the galaxy, and all who have put our people through hell, will feel our wrath ten fold.
“Why don’t they like you being together?” The little girl had never truly understood what was so bad about her mother and father being together. It seemed to be serious but she couldn’t grasp why people wouldn’t want others to be happy.
"there is no emotion there is peace..." she said softly. "the jedi are..." she tried to thibk of a way to paint the jedi kindly, but despite her force allignment, she cared very little for the jedi.
"you see, force users like your father and i, and you, we can draw power from very strong emotions like love, hate, fear," she started. "but using our emotions is as the jedi put it, the way of the darkside, and a very steep slope...they don't want someone as strong as your father to fall to the dark side of the force..."
"however, for sith like myself, and like you, we thrive in emotions, we can use the darkside like no one else can, and they fear that as well, so they want us to be as xlose to their jedi standards, keep us in line, for all the good the jedi do, they are very flawed."
Bloo let out a quiet sigh, her shoulders moving again as her features turned reluctant. “Why is daddy gone for so long..?”
zesia frowned slightly as she gave her daughter a squeeze.
"He's always needed, and the jedi still dont care much for...us being together, but know that your father is doing his best and wants to see you."
– @madenotborn
The young girls shoulders moved in a shrug as she snuggled closer to her mother. In all honesty, she was missing her father and was too sad to admit it.
zesia looked down at her daughter and rubbed her arm. "i can feel your sadness my dear, what is troubleing you?"
Dromund Kaas Street Food
Every planet has its own unique roster of local food and Dromund Kaas is no different. Even though the Empire’s capital world gets a lot of imported food from numerous other planets, the local cuisine of Dromund Kaas is still primarily dominated by seafood.
And the street food of the planet certainly reflect on this.
By far the most popular and common street food found on Dromund Kaas (and especially in Kaas City) are roasted fish on sticks. Fish sticks. Simple and delicious.
An entire fish is skewered onto a stick, mildly seasoned with whatever spice(s) the customer requests, then roasted and cooked to perfection in a fire. There’s also an array of sauces one can drizzle on the fish as well. The species used for these are soft-boned, so the entire fish can be eaten with no concerns for stray fish bones getting stuck.
There is a variety of this “dish” that consists of multiple smaller fish on a stick.
Sometimes these smaller fish are marinated or glazed before roasting, giving all the flavor it needs in one go.
Another common sight are the many different kinds of Fish loaves or Sea-loafs.
These are made from a mixture of ground up organs, connective tissue, fat, and anything that’s not bone or pure muscle (aka meat) from the aquacultural harvesters (aka fish slaughterhouses) with some starch or flour. They can be shaped, seasoned, colored, and cooked in many different ways.
Many are boiled in broth, steamed, or fried while skewered on sticks.
There are also non-fish critters on sticks as well.
Some of the native cephalopod species have also found a way to become delicious street food.
Usually skewered, stuffed, and grilled, these squid snacks are also a local favorite.
There’s also the array of smaller crustaceans and shellfish, all battered and deep fried before being shoved into a cup.
And you get sticks with these sea fritters.
The shelled creatures used for street food like this are all soft-shelled, and like their fish stick counterparts, the whole thing can be eaten. Dromund Kaas maintains itself to be a very clean planet and minimizes waste, including food waste, which led to the use of animals that can be eaten whole.
And like any planet with a sizable Sith population, there are a number of soup stands that are found throughout Kaas City.
Sith themselves hardly ever go to these seeing them as “lowbrow cuisine”. However, the Sith-inspired soup dishes served at these stands draw in the local Imperial crowds with their delicious, quick meals.

"is something wrong, Kalia?"
“No fighting in her house. Absolutely ever. Got it.” Bloo nodded, looking solemn before worry flickered over her features. “But what if I…I trip and bump into something?” She was known to be a clutz.
he chuckled. "She will know the difference, she can sense when things are done with dark intent, and when things are a mistake." He replied
Korribani Thornroses
Okay, I started working on Day 6 of the 30 Day OC Challenge and had to stop and figure out, once and for all, what the hell thornroses are since I have apparently decided the are a thing that exists in both the SWTOR and regency universes. So, here it is, my very first contribution to the collective unconscious of Tomato and/or Imperial headcanon.
Korribani Thornrose, commonly ‘thornrose’
‘Thornrose” is the common name for the kûsk’inti, a succulent shrub native to Korriban. The thornrose produces circular blooms with overlapping petals that fade from bright green at the center to burgundy and then to deep purple or black. The plant earned its common name due to the heavy, extremely sharp thorns that adorn the stalks of the shrub, and the tiny thorns that edge each petal of the rosettes. Although the thornrose is indigenous to Korriban, it is hardy enough to survive in most any climate and is therefore found in most private and public gardens throughout the Sith Empire.

Bloo looked interested, a smile playing across her lips. “She sounds wonderful… Just, uh, remind me to stay on my good behavior? I wouldn’t want to anger her or anything…”
"as long as you don't fight in the house, you'll be fine," he shrugged. his face hardened, becoming far more serious as his eyes bore down into her.
"Don't ever fight her house, outside is fine, inside. no. and don't break anything, I've seen her kill for less."

She tried not to laugh but failed to hold back a light smile. “Got it… You think your sister will….actually want to help teach me? Or am I going to be a…burden on her, too?” Bloo but down on her lip, fidgeting with the bottle in her lap.
"Kai will love to teach you, you are not a burden." He said matter of factly. he paused for a moment. "Kai is...all the warmth and kindness you could imagine in the galaxy put into one person, if anyone can teach you, it's her."
“Taking the life of an innocent is always harder even than taking your own, if you’re sincere. This is the ultimate test of selflessness. Whether you’re ready to face unending emotional pain, true agony, to gain the power to create peace and order for billions of total strangers–that is a sacrifice. To be vilified by others, by people you know and care for and for your personal sacrifice to be totally unknown to those billions you saved. To do your duty as a Sith. To do your duty for the good of the galaxy. It’s easy to be a clean cut hero slaying monsters, there’s always a little bit of vanity in it. There can be no room for vanity or pride in being despised.” - Lumiya
