DNI? was that not a thing here? well, it had been fourty or so years in the future. why did he think it would be? thereâs a narrow in his gaze, and ruin is left wondering just why she actually gives a shit. a hand couldâve reached out and completely stolen her memories, but he wasnât that kind of person. no-one else should go through the shit that came with corvus.
â iâd gladly ruin whatâs in yâlittle head with that, princess.â there was a part of him that really hated just how he was talking. there were moments where he thought back to how he was before coalescence. he wasnât that bad â but after the war? this was him. it was who he was, and that wasnât going to change anytime soon.
â thatâs what you get when you slaughter people fâa livin. â not something heâd proud of admitting. but itâs what heâs done. blood on his hands that belonged to old and young alike. but the defiance of the girl in front of him? it bothered him. way too fucking much. no-one questioned him. no-one. â yeah? oneâa those obnoxious parents, huh? assholes that think homeschoolinâ was a good idea. â the kind of people that looked at the kid fighting on the street corner for some old style collectors cards was dirty. that was why the army was his thing. the frustrations that had built over the years were good for something. his head tilted, and ruin bites back a gentle laugh â sâenough for you. my old name ainât anything to do with you. â
and that was how it was going to stay.
â ruin whatâs in her head? âthe more and more this man spoke, the more and more she believed him to be of azgeda. thanks to everything thatâs gone on with echo, clarke wasnât the most liked person whenever it came to the grounder group. and if that were the case and this was someone of the ice nation, why wasnât he attacking her. maybe it was their new location, and maybe it was because he was waiting for the perfect time. theyâd been known for strategy. but behind clarkeâs back, tucked into the waist band of her jeans, the blonde had her signature blade sheâd kept since they first reached the ground. she wasnât going to go without a fight, that was for damn sure.Â
and again, with the talk of killing, the thought stuck in her mind, and the more her caution alert was up. ignoring the comment of â slaughtering people â, his next comment struck a chord in the blonde. he knew nothing of her father, and for him to just assume he knew anything pissed her off more than anyone could have known. â he was actually a good person. â the tone in her voice easily construed the fact that heâd gone a little to far with his comments. â one of those people who would do anything to save the people he loved. â and the features of her face were sour, a bit angry. â he never slaughtered people for a living, yâknow? â the tone was matter of fact-ly, and an eyebrow slowly raised higher than the other.Â
maybe that was a bit too far, but in the moment, the only thing she cared about was making sure that whoever this person was, he knew who her father really was. but why did she care about that? why did she care about what he thought? her father had been gone for years now, and he knew nothing about him, but she didnât care.Â
â now i know youâre not asking me, but if you ask me, â her voice returned to normal as she pushed off the table sheâd found herself leaning again and walked a bit to the left, admiring the plain walls as if she was looking for something, â sounds like youâre hiding from something. â her eyes returned to him as she stopped next to him. â then again, who isnât, right? â this probably wasnât the best thing she was doing, attempting to rile up someone who went out of their way to help her, but the small comment of her dad angered her more than it should have. plus, there was still an feeling in her body that â ruin â was part of azgeda. â think i could have some water? â
shutvpmurphy:
â well would you look at what the wind blew in.â  an attempt was made by murphy to conceal the blatant bitter tone in his voice as he approached the easily recognizable girl.  âwanheda.  commander of death.â  well it was safe to say his attempt had failed.  â you look a little lost â  you want help or something? â
that familiar voice rang clear in her ears, and immediately she felt a sense of slight security. not because she felt particularly safe in the presence of murphy, but this was the first person she found from back home. HOME. they never really had a set home, but they had a normal place. here, was not their normal place. too clearn.Â
after a small moment, the blonde turned on her heels and found eye contact with the boy. she wanted to make some sort of snarky comment back, but she knew that she needed to stay on his good side. back at becaâs lab, clarke did very little to save emori, murphyâs lover, from being tested at first. she was actually a bit surprised he ever took the time to stop and talk to her. â where the hell are we, murphy? â simple, non-confrontational. good.Â
ncregrets:
when she gets over her initial shock, which had left her momentarily frozen, isabel is quick to push the blonde off of her. perhaps with a little more strength than necessary, but sheâs a solitary individual save for farlan and levi so people throwing themselves at her in a hug isnât exactly welcome. â what the hell?? â she takes a large step forward, eyeing the growing gap between them as if it werenât quite enough. â what are ya doing!! i bumped into ya on accident. i wasnât going for any kind of hug. â
clarke was so distracted by the thought that this person in front of her was raven,  that there was no thought in her mind that this could possible not be raven. and thatâs why, when the girl pushed her off, the blonde was incredibly confused. this had to be raven; this WAS raven. right?
her feet carry her backwards a bit from the force of the other. â raven, itâs me. itâs clarke. â the confusion in her voice was incredibly apparent as her eyebrows furrowed in the direction of each other. Â
ruiinshit:
trust was a difficult thing for ruin to get used to. his own team had took years for him to come to trust. it was difficult, really. there was a typical way that the army worked. trust no-one before you trusted any agenda they had. ruin huffed, slipping a bathrobe around his waist, ruin shrugged. seattle wasnât anything to be worried about
â shithole known as SEATTLE. â there was part of him that hoped it didnât come off so â rude. but hey, he didnât really care. another lost tourist that he didnât really want to deal with. gaze is kept with the girl in front of hims, and thereâs a small frown â least, thatâs what my DNI is sayinâ. donât really know how that things still workinâ. â
it seems like sheâs judging his name, but hers wasnât really too much better â itâs a callsign. yâknow what one of them is? â thereâs a gentle smirk, and heâs reaching for the close by alcohol. anything to take the dull pain off of the side of his head. flashes of blue, the frozen forest.  it hurt, and the pain is obvious in his face
â what kind of a fuckinâ name is clarke? â better than donnie. what kind of a white trash name was that? itâs moments like this where he thinks that his family mightâve liked this kind of life. the white picket fence life. instead of living on army bases, they couldâve been a normal family. then heâd died. his parents had cut contact and coalescence had killed him. how he was still alive? he had no idea. it was like his life hadnât happened â if it means anythinâ, i showed up here in the same way. ainât got no idea how iâm here.â
clarke was used to the language from the people she had come to know as her family. so when he spoke, she wasnât taken back at all. she just nodded, her blonde hair falling past her shoulder as she let her eyes wander around the house she was in. believe it or not, this was the first house clarke had seen, in real life, let alone actually been inside.
her eyes moved to him as he spoke of something called a DNI and instantly her eyebrows furrowed towards each other for a moment. but again, she knew nothing of this world, only herâs, so she had no room to judge or question anything, she thought. however, she figured she could find something out about this person who invited her into his home. â DNI? â her voice soft as she continued her gaze over towards him.
â i canât say i do. enlighten me. â it was more of a demand than a question and by the smirk that now graced his lips, she could tell he was a bit cocky in a sense. and with his next comment, clarkeâs eyes narrowed a bit, her composer keeping same. she could already tell that this was someone who wasnât used to having anything in his life questioned, let alone a small hint of such in a tone. but still, her eyes burned into him, now more than before. â it was my fatherâs middle name. â her answer was sort of a smug one. she sensed that he wanted some sort of reaction out of her. she wasnât going to give him that satisfaction. â but while weâre on the subject, i doubt ruin is your real name. â her eyebrows raised a bit before she adverted her attention from him.
if she was being honest, her attention was now more on the house than it was the man; RUIN.
ncregrets:
isabel isnât paying a lick of attention to anything in front of her. sheâs deep in thought, watching her feet move slowly one in front of the other. before she even realizes it, sheâs running right into someone else, a silent âoofâ leaving her lips as she stumbles back.
â ah, damn. sorry about that. are ya alright?? â
the blondeâs oceanic hues scanned her surroundings when all of the sudden, she body felt as if it ran straight into a brick wall. the encounter sent her back a few steps before she turned to attention. her gaze was pulled to whatever, whoever, sheâd ran into when a familiar face came into view.Â
â raven? â she was in slight disbelief for a moment before she closed to distance between the two of them, her arms wrapping around who she believed to be one of her best friends. â thank god. âÂ
i bear it so they donât have to. (insp)
ruiinshit:
fingers tap at the side of his head, the faint words of  â youâre not okay here. â are still firmly implanted in his head. corvusâ ways were twisted, but they got him to listen. the glint in the soldierâs eye fades under the bright light of the outside. thereâs a small frown, and ruinâs arms are tightened across his chest. â get in until you find out what youâre supposed to be doing. â was that too friendly? should he have even asked her in the first place? probably not. but hell, he could be nice when he wanted it to be
was it obvious? maybe. he was the kind of person that picked up on the smallest things. heightened senses was a way of picking up on these things. but it wasnât the first heâd heard of people that had came here lost. hell, he was one of them wasnât he? there was just far too much for all of them to comprpehend.
â pretty fuckinâ obvious. â a hand brushed the stray drips of water that had fallen down his arm, ruin gave a gentle roll of his eyes and pulled the door further open. if she wasnt going to take the offer, then fuck it - he was going to leave it there. â ruin, by the way. donât call me donnie. â
clarke came from a place where you could barely trust the people who constantly surrounded you, let alone strangers. so yes, while accepting this particularly new strangerâs offer to join him in his home, there was no way sheâd let any of her guard down. she was honestly a bit surprised that heâd even offered her to enter his place.Â
now, that could possibly be that in her mind, this person could possibly be a grounder sheâd yet to come in contact with; AZGEDA maybe? she was never on good terms with the ice nation, and she was sure he would know who she was if that was the case, with her being the â almighty wanheda. âÂ
so with yet another glance around her surroundings, clarke let her heavy boot covered feet carry her towards the door, then past the man in the towel. â ruin, got it. â where she was from, names werenât USUAL; hell, her name was clarke. she was in no position to question what kind of name his was.
she was more than thankful. a gracious smile pulled across her lips as she introduced herself.  â clarke. thanks. â a nod rocked her chin down slightly as she glanced up at him before looking straight again. she made her way towards the first room to where she let her bag slip carefully off of her shoulder and onto the ground. the urge to ask where the hell they were was strong, so clarke was always someone to go on instinct. â got any idea where the hell we are? â
ruiinshit:
the world was different. there was no way that he couldâve gotten used to something like this. the world was different. it wasnât torn apart by war, and the gentle thrum of corvus in the back of his head was constantly making him question whether or not the peace he felt right now was right. there had been a small house with his name on it, and fuck â normal wasnât right by him.
the water was WARM. the house was fine, and he supposed he could get used to it. fingers pull through the small pony tail that sits on his head. the shower was nice, calmed him down â but his vision is took by the sight of someone lingering in the street. wrapping a towel around his waist, ruin moved his way towards the door â pulling it open with a huff â yâlost? new here? â
it wasnât enough that this new world was thrust upon her without a choice, but she couldnât find her friends, or her family. how was she supposed to operate here? survive? survival was never a problem for clarke, but she wasnât so sure about here. at least, not in the moment. a deep voice pulled her from her thoughts as her feet carried her to the found of a house. again, she had no idea where she was, but at least she wasnât alone.Â
she glanced over her shoulder, seeing nothing, before changing direction and meeting the faceless voice. her blue eyes made contact with a man, half naked, practically still dripping wet from what she assumed was a shower he was taking. her eyebrows pulled higher in her forehead before she blinked a few times, tearing her gaze to his face.Â
she glanced around once more before she turned back to the man with a slight smile. â that obvious? â her voice was slightly louder as she offered her question towards the other. her small hand gripped the strap of her bag, which held her clothes.Â
and clarke thought navigating around and area without any actual names and directions was difficult. here she was, making her way through SEATTLE, where there were signs and maps everywhere, yet the blonde was a bit lost when it come to how to get back to housing.Â
to make matters worse, it honestly didnât help that there was barely anyone around to ask.Â

          WELCOME TO SEATTLE !!     | @ruiinshit
itâs so strange to be anywhere that actually had a real name. anywhere sheâd been from her time on the ground had been north, south, grounder territory, skaikru area. sheâd learned about everything having to do earth before the nuclear apocalypse; except how to work and survive before radiation inhabited the world.Â
yet here she is, her signature blue jacket, unzipped with a pair of black, ripped jeans and black combat boots, and sheâs making her way through housing. how the hell was she going to remember all of these different names, along with the directions. she somehow found herself in RED WOOD WAY, her eyes scanning all the different housing, in search for herâs. only problem is she had no idea where she was.Â
