I have this weird imagination like one day Chanyeol will just snap at his members cause he is so tired getting ignored. He literally just close himself, less talking unless necessary, less interacting with others unless work related, faking his smile during group interview, spending more time at his own studio and stop replying in group chat.
Baekhyun will be the first to notice since he is his roommate and now chanyeol is only on his phone, refuses the night gaming session and just come home to change shirt or to take some of his stuffs left in the room. He assumes that Cy is just busy with his new girlfriend and didn’t take it deep. He’s a bit frustrated since now he got no partner to play games with him and other members are not interested.
Chen is the second but can’t confirm it since they are not that close, he can’t help to keep on eye on Chanyeol to make sure and take note to ask Baekhyun abt it later.
Sehun realizes it since now Chanyeol didn’t bother asking him along for two of his holiday trips overseas like he always do before. He never ask him to accompany him during shopping, he didn’t even joke around with him anymore. Chanyeol never skips other members birthday and he only wished suho with a short greeting this year.
Kyungsoo didn’t bother at first since he actually has experiences several episodes of sulking chanyeol before but he starts taking it seriously after he saw the agreement letter to buy a land with Chanyeol’s name and a business plan on Chanyeol’s desk. He did remember Chanyeol used to say that he’s going to open a cafe like his mother when he retire from the industry.He tries to ask Chanyeol about it but he just tell him to never bother with his stuffs again. Chanyeol never snap at him before.
Other members catch up with the changes not long after that especially Suho since now he had to personally ask Chanyeol for group hang out cause he never read and reply the groupchat. thank god Chanyeol never miss the group activity, some who bold enough like Kyungsoo and Baekhyun try to reach him but he is always not in the room and refuse to meet. The dorm is now alot less noisy, less cheerful since there are no more Chanyeol to tease Kyungsoo and Baekhyun lose a partner to make chaos. Its even frustrating cause the managers just told them to leave it alone since it didn’t disrupt any group activities and they all seems normal in television.
The group tension peak when Baekhyun come to surprise Chanyeol in his studio to come across him fixing a bed there. Chanyeol didn’t even hesitate to tell that he wants to move out the dorm. Baekhyun yells at him but Chanyeol just put on his headphone back and continues his work. Baekhyun has to leave cause bruising Chanyeol’s face is not an option while they are promoting now. The next morning, Chanyeol’s whole closet is empty and nobody knows when he packs his things. They never see him again after that except during their group activities.
Two months after that, Chanyeol didn’t sign the continuation contract with them and it become a huge slap for everyone including the higher ups who didn’t take it seriously before. The news spread fast between fans, some swore to leave the fandom, some blaming other members, majority of them chanting their bond is fake and Chanyeol is a traitor. The contract is terminated without much sounds since he fulfill all the leaving requirement. He already planned everything. The band was put on hiatus, another person is rumored to be added to replace him.
Three months after that, Chanyeol open his own bowling centre. Under the name of Park Chanyeol without even slightest trace of exo there. The business was slow at first because of all the raging fans but gaining popularity due to the good services a few months after that. They lose contact with him.
The band lose huge supports from fans and antis are everywhere. Taeyong is added to replace Chanyeol but it doesn’t take genius to see the band is falling apart. They disband after a year.
