Approximately 2 weeks ago, I was selected to participate as the Delegate of Albania in the Model Organization of Islamic Cooperation (MOIC) Summit. It was remarkably terrific since we had to produce and formulate a resolution within the scope of OIC-level policymaking. The sweetest part of it was when my motion, "Establishing the Ummah Startup Incubation Centers", was agreed unanimously and thus had been adopted by consensus ad referendum. As I was allocated to the Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation, we were discussing how the technology could leverage the capacity pertaining to the human capital and education in the Islamic world - as well as the linkage between tech and business. Later on today, I just received an update that I've been acknowledged as the Outstanding Delegate throughout the summit along with my brother @ashirov_kiram23, a Russian student at Hacettepe. [A PIECE OF AFTERTHOUGHT] - The very day I decided to go far, thousands of miles away from home, I'd realised that my life would never be the same anymore. Then what was more, it severely struck me to the bone—the life I lived turned into a pile of poignant moments that I couldn't bear with. I did grasp that life is about trade-offs: we forego pleasure today for something greater tomorrow. But no, I didn't regret most - if not all - crossroads I had picked over. . I've rolled my dice, letting myself enchanted by the 'ne olursa olsun' mantra. I do apprehend, the odds of a so-called fiasco is somewhat can't be reckoned beforehand. But the plain truth is: your attempts on going forward in earnest, regardless of where it takes you, *are* already a triumph that shall be taken into account. It's crystal clear to perceive that there's always a blessing in disguise for those who ponder. Indeed, you may be able and are valid to feel utterly exhausted. But, bear in mind, gratefulness is an ample solace and hence, as a matter of course, is indispensable to every soul. - Anyways, Ramadan Kareem! May our 4 weeks of mercy, 30 days of worship, 720 hours of spirituality, 43.200 minutes of forgiveness, and 2.592.000 seconds of happiness, lead us into the unalterable ultimate-level of Iman. Underneath it all: there were - countless - rejection letters, arduous offers, and unpleasant answers. I was on the edge of the cliff, trying to plunge over and release all things that burden me. But here I'm now, striving to befriend the failure and keeping my head held high (with a bit of teardrop). - From the bottom of my heart, I'd like to express my sincere gratefulness to Allah SWT and all of my exceptional friends who had given me a beacon of hope. [MUSTA 2020: A HOMECOMING] . Recalling the moments I've passed less than three-quarters of a year. [RESENTMENT] - Dear, You-Know-Who. . Today, I'm getting used to re-embrace my resentment against life. Striving (and pledging) to be more delicate with my imperfection. I'm just too curious: do I deserve affection? Unfortunately, It's grey. - My first year in Turkey was not 'that' easy. I, even, couldn't afford to fortify my vulnerability. Indeed, there's no need to pretend that everything's all fine. It, undoubtedly, wasn't. Until it landed on the peak—I bursted into tears. . No, this is not a gloomy story; I wish not. I just contemplate, how this everlasting journey would come to the end? In the quest, into the unknown and nowhere? It might be obscure, complex, and volatile.
