Bad end-
So wait for the stone on your window, your window Wait by the car and weâll go, weâll go But Oh Valencia With your blood still warm on the ground Valencia And I swear to the stars Iâll burn this whole city down
It smells like blood. Like, a lot. Grayson caught the scent from quite a distance awayâbeing a cannibalistic zombie person had the perk of a better noseâand went to investigate. Sure, the last time he reaped the benefits of anotherâs misfortune, it didnât play out so well. In fact, he got caught by a cop. But the prions donât care about thatâthey just want the crunch of bones and the ripping of flesh.
So he follows his nose until he hears faint singing, barely heard over the sound of the Decemberists from his iPod. And thatâs when he sees her. A young girlâlike a really young girlâburying something. From the look of that chainsaw and the fresh(ish) graves, Grayson deduces that she basically just had some sort of massacre. And the blood didnât smell human, so it was probably just some squirrels or foxes or something. Still not good, though. She could be a future serial killer or something. But she seemed so innocent.
âHey there. Um⊠nah, I just heard some singing and decided to check it out.â
Heâs not gonna confront her. Yet. He doesnât wanna have to kill a little girl. Not that heâd feel any remorseâthe prions took care of thatâbut he promised himself he wouldnât eat any students here and his streak is still going strong.
The person her eyes rested upon didn't look all that impressive, nor did he seem like an immediate threat. In fact, he looked rather dull! It was a shame, too, for her curiosity seldom remained at a low for very long, and she was more than ready to move onto the next experiment. One she had, admittedly, been wanting to try out for a long time--one the previous Dr. Drevis had been working on for years--
Well, she wasn't going to make a drab doll out of a man with such uninspiring features! Not that she meant any harm with her thoughts, but as a child they were frequently unhindered and uncensored.
âOh! Sorry if I disturbed you... I just remember reading that nursery rhyme somewhere, and it came to mind all of a sudden. I didn't think anyone would hear me.â Despite her previous observations of the teen, she still picked up her weapon and wiped the red liquid off on her apron, a smile remaining on her visage all the while. The only present thought in her mind now was to get this man away from her secret spot, and to not return once they had gone. She'd have to find another place... for neither her dresser in her dorm nor this spot of the campus were a safe keep for her secrets.
âI've been told by my Mother and Father not to talk to strangers, but you don't seem so bad! If you will, please do tell me your name! Mine is Aya!â Until she convinced the man to leave--with her or without--she was going to stay in front of the freshly dug grave; chainsaw at the ready. Plus, who knows, maybe this man truly wasn't a threat and she would be making her first friend at the Academy!

(part 2Â here)
âHumpty Dumpty sat on a wallâŠâ Bent over a fresh mound of dirt, the young girl compacted more and more of the soil onto the pileâa small, bloody chainsaw sat next to her as she hummed her rhyme happily.
âHumpty Dumpty had a great fallâŠâ As she heard footsteps approaching, Aya speedily finished up her job, but before she could wipe her dirty hands or her stained weapon, the person was already behind her. No matter! It wasnât like she had done anything bad. She had an insatiable curiosity, and what she had done temporarily quenched that thirst.Â
âAll the King's horses, and all the King's menââ Rising to her feet, she tried her best to hide the animal-sized grave behind her, although she truly felt that she wasnât at fault. There wasnât an ounce of guilt in her body, she just⊠didnât want others to see. This was her secret.
ââcouldnât put Humpty Dumpty back together again!â With a cheerful clap and a childish smile upon her face, she spun around to greet the stranger who had come across her. If their eyes were so keen, theyâd spot more than just the one grave in slightly hidden clearingâall of which had obviously been dug and filled at different times.
âHello! May I help you?â If they saw and understood what she had done she'd just have to... her eyes quickly glanced at the chainsaw before returning to meet those of whom had found her secret place.
