I have came to the conclusion that I do not have to make a "google street view" for every location. This will slow the story down, I want to keep it fast paced.

I drew up a concept for Fat Charlie (the main character) I tried to keep within the style I already created.... I don't think I am gonna give him a face
This is the visual style I am going for in my adaptation of Anansi boys. I want it to be quite simple, as the story is chaotic. This would be Fat Charlies home, at one of the pivotal scenes of the book, when Spider and Charlies fiancee are about to have sex.

Angels and Demons - A story from the Bombs perspective
I really like Lewis' idea. Cutting the story down into a manageable chunk is something that took me a while to realise is a good idea. The whole concept of following the bomb also offers a whole new avenue of art styles. As much as I like the idea of looking straight on at the bomb, cause it looks very pretty visually, I think it could leave too much of the original story out. If you saw more of the bombs surroundings then it would give the viewer/player a better idea of the story, even if they do already know it.
The idea of looking into one colour to emphasize tone, I think would really work. For example the bomb could be quite cool and relaxed colours when he isn't all excited and he would get steadily more orange/red/white as he got excited. But some of the abstract work he was looking at would be amazing if he integrates it properly with some "background" video.
The idea of tailor made music/sound will also help with the continuity of the video. You just have to be very careful when syncing everything up, I know this first hand. It can be a bit of a pain.
Using "Lord of War" as a possible reference how you would watch the bomb move, would be fantastic, but it's style would not directly work with the abstract style Lewis was looking at. If he were to make the background fade put a bit, to show it is less important, but is still visible enough to give reference, then I think it would all work fine.
As long as Lewis does do more research into the idea of a "contents" menu, his project should be an awesome one.
Polar. An interesting piece of video work with amazing sound
Yes we were shown this in Kinetic Illustration but I found it amazing. I love the sound effects, and the subtle music in it. The sound and music compliment the piece perfectly
