Swell 3.0  A Reimagined Live Music event set at the barracks of Fort Neapan, Mornington Peninsula. The audience walked through the historical barracks, got lost in the maze and discovered a different experience at every turn. Whether it was music or performance they were encouraged by etherial hosts to interact and bring life to an abandoned fort.

Such an amazing and thankful experience to have worked (even for a very short time) with the dressers of Aladdin the Musical at the Prince Edward Theatre, London. So much learnt and about the high paced action behind the scenes.. Hopefully I get to work with this phenomenal team again, soon!

A costume rendering assignment at VCA, costume designed for an acrobat in Cirque De Soleil.  The acrobat has chalk dust in the tubes of their skirt, this is designed so when they spin, jump or kart-wheel they ignite in a ball of dust giving the illusion of magic as they disappear.  Designed and drawn by Madi McCarthy 2016

Holt! Who Goes There?  VCA Frisk Festival, Melbourne.

The Stalls. An installation for Melbourne Fringe Festival in the disabled toilet at Melbourne Town Hall. 2016

The graffiti we find in the bathrooms is funny, inspirational, feminist and political. We collected hundreds of these quotes from all over Melbourne’s bathrooms and strung them up to look like chips off a wall. It was fascinating to find similarities in the thoughts that people have when alone on the toilet.
