Jealous Sanha Headcanons
Hi besties I ditched this blog for a while but Iâm back and a friend wanted me to do headcanons for Sanha from ASTRO! So stream All Yours and enjoy I think!
When you had first started working at the local bakery in your town, you and your coworker Sanha had become friends almost immediately. You two found it easy to get along as you had many common interests that you could spend hours discussing to fill the time.
As the bakery didnât get a lot of customers, and most of them were just regulars anyways, talking to Sanha became by far one of your favorite parts of your daily shifts. Cracking jokes and messing around in the kitchen became a part of the routine and despite the purely platonic bond that you two shared, you felt yourself develop feelings for him over time.Â
Much to your dismay, you could never seem to figure out if Sanha felt the same. Even though he would giggle at your jokes and was you were no stranger to the way he would find little ways to touch your arms or pat you on the head during the day, you let yourself believe he did that with everyone.Â
What you didnât realize, was that Sanha was kicking himself trying to figure out the best way to tell you that he liked you. He hated the way that customers would flirt with you, and he hated the way you would just laugh along with them instead of shutting them down. He was trying his hardest to make it obvious that he was interested in you without outright saying it, but you werenât taking the hints.
On one particularly slow day in the bakery, you and Sanha were the only employees in the shop. You two followed your similar routine of cracking jokes and fooling around for probably too long before you got started with your tasks for the day. However, what wasnât part of the routine was a good looking man walking into the bakery.
Sanha was busy rolling pastries and had sent you out to help him without even looking up. As you tidied up your apron and made your way to the front of the store to help what you assumed was a regular, Sanha continued to busy himself in the kitchen.Â
Around fifteen minutes went by before he realized that you were still helping the customer. Itâs not that he was concerned for your safety, but usually the older couples that came in knew what they wanted and were gone within a few minutes. He decided to go out and check on you, to see if you needed any help.
âOh hey Sanha! Come and meet Jake!â You called as you saw him make his way out from the kitchen. He hated the way he saw you giggle at Jakeâs jokes. After all, you were only supposed to laugh like that at his jokes.
Sanha dusted off his apron, put on his best smile, and moved over to shake Jakes hand. In hindsight, he probably shook it a little bit too aggressively, but he couldnât figure out why his mind was clouded with such anger.
He managed to introduce himself before his jealousy started to kick in. âYeah, me and y/n used to date in high schoolâ Jake had started saying.
Sanha could hear y/n say something in response, but he wasnât fully paying attention to what she was saying. Instead he was focused on Jakeâs body language. He didnât like the way his eyes traveled up and down y/nâs body. The way his gaze never quite made it to her eyes when she was talking. She at least deserved that much, the basic respect of eye contact.Â
Just as Sanha was starting to refocus his attention to the conversation at hand, Jake cut y/n in the middle of her sentence to begin talking about his latest work endeavor. This guy was really starting to piss him off. At first he thought it was just the fact that he had dated y/n, but no. He was just an asshole.
Almost as soon as Sanha had this thought, his mouth opened. âAs interesting as all of that sounds, y/n and I really have to get back to work. Weâre running behind enough as it is.âÂ
Jakeâs eyes clouded over at this. Sanha wasnât sure if he was going to make a snarky comment, or just accept it and leave. To be honest, he was a little bit intimidated.Â
Instead, Jake turned to y/n and said, âWell, weâll have to meet up again some time to catch up for real, Iâll text you!â And turned to leave the store.
As soon as the door closed y/n rushed back into the kitchen almost singing her gratefulness.
âOh thank god you got rid of him! I thought I was going to have to talk for hours. He was always like that in high school too, he never shut up.âÂ
âIâm just surprised you dated someone like him anyways.â Sanha blurted before he could stop himself.
You paused and turned to look at him, âWhat does that mean, Sanha?âÂ
Sanha panicked, he didnât want her to take it the wrong way, but she genuinely deserved so much better than that guy anyway. She deserved someone that actually wanted to hear her speak, and cared about what she had to say. They were equals, after all.
He decided to be honest, âNothing bad! I just think that you deserve someone who doesnât cut you off to talk about themselves every five minutes.â And to dig himself even deeper into the hole he already wasnât getting out of, he mumbled to himself, âI wouldnât do that to you.â
His ears burned as he realized what he had said out loud, and by the time he managed to look up from the pastry he was so intently working on, you were already looking at him with a smirk on your face.
âOh you wouldnât would you?âÂ
