hiii, my name is madeleine ♡

i am 19 from norway and love The Dark Crystal; a movie from 1982 based in a universe made by Jim Henson. i’m trying to write a campaign set in between the netflix series “Age if Resistance” made in 2019 and the original movie.

i made this blog to document the process and hopefully get some help and make mutuals who are also interested in the dark crystal and any 80s fantasy stuff. i also have another blog called “madeleine1lizzy” which is more general interest and random posts.

i have not made a post in 2 weeks?!?!? literally haven’t written anything or made progress, the weather in norway has just been too good.

i’m gonna write like the prologue soon i hope and i already started brainstorming and testing making a character for my friend

i want to incorporate “the ascendancy” in some way because i love the idea of a hive mind being part of the campaign but it needs to be playable. i was thinking of something like proximity where it awakens but is usually dormant. not all characters/gelfling would have it, only if it fits with a character’s backstory and so on. they could potentially have been part of the battle in the last episode of aor and aged with the "threader."

it's canon that gelfling lose all sense of self when the connection is complete but i would then "change the rules" since it's my campaign anyway...

(side note)

i love baldur's gate 3 and the whole concept of the mind flayer and brain worm so incorporating it in the way the game did is a possibility.
