🕒 ❝ What.... what are ya...? ❞ Rabbit wasn’t really all that lost. That’s just a matter of opinion in all honest. So she may have been SLIGHTLY lost, but not so much that she couldn’t find her way back home however. But wandering through the woods, she wouldn’t have expected something to move around in the grass around her.
Now she was standing face to face with.. well something that seemed familiar to a fox, but oddly- wasn’t.

M-My bad... ❞ Being someone who frequented the court house to observe the court cases, it was rather easy to figure out who she had accidentally run into. And while she may have recognized him, the girl was nothing more than an observer most of the time, that or working in her own shop. She had hardly even tried to make herself known to most other than the few she had run into before. The small blonde blinked nervously, and stumbled back, obviously a little nervous that she had run into him.

“He’s a sweet heart. Loyal.” She sighed, shaking her head. She jumped at the sound, quickly glancing around as if she needed to protect them. “O-oh… Right…but like i said…he’s a good guy.”

Plus, ya seem to know a few things. ❞ She smiled, regaining her composure, and tilted her head to the side as she turned around and poured the hot water into two cups. Turning back around, she carefully walked over to her friend, and offered the cup to her.

“Harsher?” Wendy stared straight ahead as she walked but her mind was on things more important than shoes and purses. She didn’t like what Rabbit said one bit, and, as always, she was itching to ask questions. Truth be told, she didn’t know much about the new girl– just her name and a few other basic details. That wasn’t enough for Wendy, there had to be more. “What are you talking about, Rabbit? How bad could it have been?”

She answered somewhat shyly. It wasn’t that she didn’t enjoy talking about herself, but she was also a little nervous to. She found it a little comfortable that no one really knew about her, but at the same time that was honestly rather suspicious of her to keep it all secret. Maybe she could just- possibly kept it vague while answering the question?
But that would cause more questions, wouldn’t it?

Just as she finished, the kettle steamed to life, whistling sharply behind the blonde. It only took a slight second for her to jump, yelping being scared by it, and grabbing her chest, laughing.

She was certainly a unique one, and not just in her name: most people don’t just walk up to Simon and initiate a chat, due to him usually coming off as intimidating and cold, which he…sometimes, isn’t.
And while he was not the most sociable in the world, he was peeved off, so he figured: why not just talk with this girl to distract his mind from how much today was aggravating him. “Rabbit-dono, huh…”
"Tch, this is hardly anything new for me: it is just today, I’m granted with the misfortune of dealing with especially irking morons: and said witnesses being a pain to grind more information out of does anything but help.”
“Well, if you consider restraining myself from losing my temper “dealing with them pretty good”, then sure…“
It wasn’t like she could really tell that he might not have wanted the company, but she was of the mindset of if someone was upset, then they could use cheering up. And really, honestly a distraction from the case might be what he needed, considering the fact it wasn’t going his way at all.
Kicking her legs back and forth on the bench, she leaned forward to look at Simon better, and thought for a moment. Words weren’t really ever her strong suit, and she hardly was ever able to portray the meaning she was trying to.

Wendy turned and, absolutely refusing to listen to the smarter thoughts in her head, jumped out the window. She landed on the ground on her two feet and silently thanked whatever higher power was out there for never getting rid of the snow because that would have hurt.
“Is this your first time ditching?” Wendy asked the question in a tone that suggested she didn’t want anyone else hearing it even though she knew the rest of the girls were way ahead of them. They weren’t very patient, at least not when clothes were involved.
🕒 ❝Possibly. ‘a’ve ditched things before but.... ❞ Rabbit had followed suite, stumbling a little when she landed. It wasn’t the worst landing of all time, but it certainly wasn’t as good as Wendy’s. Rabbit kept her tone just as quiet, and played with one of her pig tails before shrugging.

While today’s trial was not something over-the-top or anything like that, it was certainly incredibly frustrating: uncooperative witnesses, irritable rival attorney, testimonies that were so clearly inaccurate and wrong, a rookie could point it out expertly.
In short: he was really just wanting this case to be dealt and done with before he finds himself strangling whoever else pisses him off. "I’m fine.” He mutters, but then it just occurs to him: who is this girl? And why did she pay him a visit?
“…And you are?”
She just stayed silent while he mumbled to himself, and was being a little angry. And who wouldn’t be? She herself was getting annoyed in the court just by simply watching, and she could only imagine how much more infuriating it was actually being one of the ones dealing with the mess. Though, she did at least want to come say something. While she more than likely would be blown off considering how young she was and how much of a child she looked like, the pig tailed blonde sat down next to him.
If he got mad, he got mad. She smiled at him though, and shrugged.
