I like the confirmation Lucifer can’t hurt sinners because we’ve seen how powerful he is and this NERFS him in a severe but believable way. Of course his punishment would be not just being sent to Hell, but being unable to do anything to the people who get sent there to. As if the world is seeing “look at what you made. You can’t do anything to fix it.”

It makes complete sense for him to feel as hopeless as he did, and explains why he mostly kept out of sinner politics. Both because of the way it reminds him of being powerless in that way but also because if the truth was ever to be revealed things would be FUCKED.

It’s interesting cause it’s kind of the inverse of the rules the exorcists had originally. The exorcists could kill sinners but not hellborn, while Lucifer is barred from hurting sinners.

I wonder what the limits are for him? Like… can he just not use any angelic magic on them? Could he stab a sinner with an angelic weapon? We saw in “Hell’s Greatest Dad” him fuck with Alastor a bit but never HURT him per se.

People saying Lucien snaps at Nesta about Vassa and Jurian being at each other's throats because he's jealous (due to him developing feelings for Vassa) as if this man can't just be tired from being the professional third wheel of every friend group he's been in.

Lucien's irritation is not the behavior of a man pining for someone, it is the behavior of a man who is OVER everyone else's drama including his own, lol. This man cannot find peace anywhere he goes. Not in Tamlin's Court, not in the Night Court and now not in the place he's supposed to be sharing with his two friends. I don't know what sort of romance books people have read but I've never seen a single one where a guy apparently shows jealousy for the girl he's been living with and has all the opportunity he needs to make a move while turning around moments later and staring at the most beautiful female he's ever seen with longing. Longing for the win each and every time.
