We can build on the savings inadvertently made to our carbon impact over the last few weeks. We have one shared planet. There is simply no option to self-isolate from climate change. Individuals, companies and countries can make a difference. To limit global warming, we all need to work together.
This article was written by Mike Hughes on May 18 2020 for Forbes, It talks about how we can make change in post Coronavirus life. Governments around the world have shown that they are able to put people first to keep them safe. Scientist say that if they can make such major change so quickly we should be able to do the same with climate change. Scientist also think we should take the momentum of lower CO2 levels during this pandemic and try to implement that into post Covid-19 life. They think that we can level out the enviromental scales. This article gives three changes we need to focus on; the first being “Accelerate speed of renewable energy growth”, the second being “Maintain reductions in energy consumption were possible”, and the third being “Estimate energy waste”. If we can change for the better and do these three things we have a chance of really leveling the environmental scales.
