— BIOGRAPHY
Growing up in New York City, there was always a story to be found if you dug deep enough. That's what Maeve liked to do, it's what she had always liked to do - dig deep and get answers. She didn't care if she had to get confrontational to get it, but Maeve could always work the other side of things; Sweet and innocent, act dumb and people would talk and if it didn't work then that's when she would confront them. She went to college for journalism, finishing a degree specialising in investigative journalism. Maeve had a job at a newspaper, but it wasn't enough. They didn't want her working on the hard hitting things, not really. There was always something she wasn't allowed to touch on, an angle she couldn't take. She wasn't allowed to look into the gang, for fear of the paper being targeted. She wasn't allowed to really speak much about the rate of crime in New York, because you couldn't do that without speaking to the gang involvement and even then they didn't want the city of New York to look bad, to scare off the population. So she quit. Maeve has a website where she writes and posts her own articles, most call it a blog but everything is backed up by sources, none of it is hearsay. She goes out and investigates, gets her evidence and answers and posts it on her blog. For anything that she thinks will benefit, she'll do a podcast episode on the situation and post it to the same website. It's what she lives for, she loves it, but even she can't deny that it gets her into some messy situations.
