my blog is rb heavy. this is technically my (fester's) blog, but i also share it with my fellow hosts. i enjoy horror as a genre, and i rb horror art + gifs; i do try to tag them accordingly. (my favourite horror genre is presently southern gothic, & it inspires much of my work.) i really like music too! i'm goth, a metalhead + emo ^_^! i post about things that are important to me here, as this isn't solely a fandom blog; and my account isn't politics-free. i am very opinionated when it comes to my interests (thanks autism) & i am mentally ill, it tends to bleed through into my blog. so. sorry for the jumpscare
Defending a Black female character from a piece of media I may or may not even consume, no matter what she does, because I know of the racist, misogynistic double standard that her actions would be perceived differently to the audience if she were a white man. Name the character, go:
White people. Mass media. Internet users. Shut the fuck up about "skinwalkers." That's not. Well okay one you're entirely wrong about the concept and two stop co opting indigenous culture into your own "quirky" bullshit fuck you. This also goes for the other thing white people stole from native culture and took it to mean "scary monster 😨" that I'm not saying on account of yknow. Part of the point and the actual thing behind it is that you're not supposed to say the name. And I for one respect my culture I wish other people did too. Treat native cultures with the respect they deserve. Fucker.
