LFW AW18/19, Designer Showrooms, styles linked together by Moi and a general rant!
As usual I am posting these pics several months after the event. Reasons: life, busy schedule, other priorities, being silly and waiting to edit all the pics rather than posting them in stages, bla. bla, bla... Oh, and most imporantly it is about 3am here, I am slightly tired but not sleepy, hence why unable to do any physical garment making, which I am preoccupied with recently. Plus next LFW is in couple of weeks and I want to get rid of the backlog of picas to post. Total procrastinator, ha... I am doing much better though :P I did search: Is tumblr dead 2018', before I posted these. Not that I care but I am sipmy curious. I have not written anything longer than a tonne of hashtags on insta recently and this is a great opportunity to practice, even if it is just a random rant. Ok, now to the fashion week.
I banged these together as I decided that if I owned these items today I would wear them together. Hmm.. maybe they will arrive in the next post. Tomorrow I would probably wear these differently. It would be cool to grab a banch of clothes and style them differently every day - same clothes. Maybe that should be my next project.
Back to the story...I walked through designer showrooms with my mates, having a few, super tasty, free drinks, talking to industry people, looking at funky new clothes and photographing only things that i love. I do it for my entertainment and my pleasure. I adore vibrant colours but I also enjoy a more muted palette if the garment' shape or textile structure/texture is interesting.
