Implementing Quick Brand Search on Your Magneto Store

The need of eCommerce is growing day by day with so many people buying products online.

The competition among the eCommerce merchants is also growing linearly; so, to maintain their quality & standard among the competitors the e-commerce merchants need to keep up the level of their products. For this they should add more and more brands in their eCommerce store to fulfill the needs of their customers. 

When the number of brands in an online store starts increasing, there is a possibility of the customers finding it difficult to search a particular brand he/she is looking for. For this an eCommerce store should have proper search filters which can make it easy for the customers to search a particular brand.

Keeping this in mind SoftProdigy has launched “Quick Search by Brands” Magento Extension. By installing this Magento Extension, a user can search all the available brands on a store which are also arranged in an alphabetical manner.

The extension creates an alphabetical bar on the top of the navigation bar of your online store.

When a customer hovers on any alphabet in the bar it shows all the available brands starting with that particular alphabet in a drop down menu.

For Example if a customer needs to buy a product from the Adidas Brand, he/she will hover over the letter ‘A’ in the search bar. All the available brands starting with the letter ‘A’ will be shown in a drop down menu. After selecting the Adidas brand, all the products that are related to Adidas get sorted.

Here is the sorted list of Adidas products.

The extension provides another feature for the customers to see all the available brands available in the store on a single webpage.

For this the customers have to click on the View All Button in the search bar.

All the available brands in the store gets listed in alphabetical order on a single web page.
