Triathlons done for 2019. This was an emotional day. I improved enough in swimming that I did ok in some tough conditions in Delaware Lake. I was in my comfort zone here on the bike. The run is my nemesis. I straight up do not have a good time on the run, so I have to focus on improving that to be better. Ironman Chattanooga 70.3 triathlon... wearing the Wattie Ink Network Collection kit. I got a ton of compliments on it and it was super comfortable. The swim was amazing... down river and shortened, so it was only 23 minutes in the water for me. The bike and run were not as good... it was pretty hilly and I didn't quite have the legs yet. Need to do a lot more training. I finished though and that was my only goal. The people of Chattanooga really get excited about this triathlon and there's a lot of people cheering along the race. NEOCX: Ohio State Cyclocross Championships was a bit muddy and cold. So muddy and cold that the mud froze onto the bike and my back wheel didn't want to turn. I had a good start though, until this happened. Someone crashed behind me and as he fell, his handlebar hooked my rear derailleur cable and stopped me. After we got untangled we were in last.
