Journey through Idea Space V

A Magical Diary is a journal of a Journey through Idea Space, the world underlying and surrounding ours, which is prior to and higher than our material world, and produces it.

“Journey through Idea Space V” is taken from “The Book of Sand Vol. MCMLXXXIV Number XXIII”.

“A god even more closely associated with the shell and perhaps a personification of the shell itself is the God of Zero, the embodiment of transcendence.

Not being a number, despite having extremely significant numerical functions, this god is not one of the Oxlahun Ti Ku. He is not a bearer of time, rather he transforms it to increasingly higher levels.

The glyph "zero" will always be painted red, and it appears in the codices as a shell...In the mind of the Maya, rather than representing "nothing", zero is a symbol that a count has evolved or spiraled to a higher level.

When it appears in the names of gods, people, places, or nodes of time it signifies transformation. As either a numerical sign or a spiritual symbol, it functions as a portal, a gateway to a higher plane. A salient feature of the shell is emptiness.
