gendering certain physical characteristics as masculine/feminine is deeply rooted in white supremacy. i mean things like “ tall, hairy and sharp features = masculine” and “short, hairless and soft = feminine”. latino men tend to be short. indigenous men in peru tend not to be hairy.. that doesnt make them any less masculine. we are just adhering to what white people think is masculine or feminine when there simply isnt and should not be a standard

Watching a once-homeless cat sleep without a worry in the world is one of the most heartwarming things ever.

Today is International Rescue Cat Day! Fuzzy and Crooktail are my rescue cats which I adopted from the outdoors. Although they are ordinary cats from the streets, they are special to my family as they have brought us so much happiness! The community cats I post about are so adorable too, if only my home was larger, I would adopt all of them!

Today as we appreciate rescues and the people who work tirelessly to help homeless animals, do consider adopting a rescue or shelter cat yourself if you’re planning to have a cat. Breaking the cycle of pet abandonment and mass breeding of animals starts from us!

I'm not even trying to date right now because I don't feel like I would be able to fully invest any amount of energy/time/etc. into a relationship at this point emotionally and I want to be in a better place to be able to give someone that amount of commitment and I feel like I'm sacrificing those opportunities until that point comes but sometimes it's never a good time!! I really don't have the mental stability for dating and I don't know if I ever will lmao
