                   ˜”*°•.     Fingers  brushed  away  the  streak  of  blood  painting  her  cheek.  There were  many  things  she  disliked, and  defeat  was  certainly  one  of  them.  So  she  lifted  her  chin  high. The  scratch  was  nothing  compared  to  what  had  truly  wounded  her— or  had  it  wounded  her ?  Angered her ?  Infuriated her?   It  had  sparked  a  kind  of  searing,  unfamiliar  hatred  deep  inside  her,  hotter  than  anything  she’d  ever  felt  before.  It  was  one  thing  dealing  with  psychotic  murderers,  criminals  that  she’d  never  met  before.  But  dealing  with  this ?  With  him ?  It’d  stirred  a  weird  kind  of  conflict  that  she’d  never  experienced  before .

❝ Someone,  who’s  already  regretting  it .  ❞  She  said  distantly  instead .  It  wasn’t  that  she  didn’t  trust  her  enough  to  tell  her  the  truth.  It  was  that  she  felt  too  disappointed  in  herself  to  really  admit  the  truth .  No.  Cases  should  never  be  personal,  never  be  haunted  with  emotions.  And  this  was  exactly   how  she  was  going  to  deal  with  it  now ;  as  a  stranger .  ❝ I  didn’t  know  you  were  going  to  visit . ❞

She looked her over, fingers moving towards the blood, gathering it between her fingers. "Blood is such a weird concept don't you think? This red looking liquid keeping us alive." Her light eyes taking in the rest of Wednesday, she seemed upset about something. Wednesday was never upset. "it seems this someone has shaken you, are they worth this reaction out of you?" She questioned. To Fedora no one was able to get a reaction out of her, without her being in love with them.

She sat Wednesday down as she got a cloth, to clean her up, she knew her niece would be able to deal with any infections coming her way, but she liked to have something to do. "I'm teaching here for a few months."

I was planning to write a lot over here and have my queue running for my trip next week. But I got ill, hospitalised even, so I didn't get anything done. I am planning on starting drafts here soon. I feel so inspired, just have very low energy at the moment. Know that I haven't forgotten about this blog and have 13 threads in my drafts that I really want to keep writing! <3.

She watches him drop into the chair. All bloodied and with a drink in his hand. He looks lost, so lost. And she knows no one else sees him this way, but she can see through him, see through the tough exterior. A sigh leaves her lips as she calms herself and looks at him. "I will get some hot water and some bandages."

She disappears for a bit before coming back with everything she needs to clean his wound. Lizzie falls on her knees before him, taking his shirt and slowly pushing it up. Seeing all the blood. Another sigh, "It looks like you were lucky." the bullet just went past his side, leaving a nasty wound. She dapped her cloth into the hot water and started cleaning. Keeping pressure on the wound itself with a bandage and her hand.

Lizzie didn't say much more, she knew he wouldn't answer any of her questions anyway. She loved him so much, but lately she was wondering if she could bring up her child, and Charlie in this violence, this secrecy. So she stayed silent, cleaning him up, bandaging him, caring for him.
