Regulus was home alone when he glanced out the window to see a familiar car drive passed. He thought maybe it was just a coincidence until the car passed by slowing 5 more times.

The young man closed all the curtains and locked the doors before rushing to the bedroom and diving under the blankets. His breathing was shallow and he began to freak out tears forming in his eyes as he shut them tight.

They couldn't have found him, the couldn't have.

Regulus closed his eyes as they kissed before sighing and taking a deep breath out, relieved that Victor would be there for him, to protect him. “I love you too.” He said, not leaving the mans arms.

Victor let his face go and wrapped him arms around him, gently rubbing his back. "I'll put the groceries away. Go lay down and I will be over there to join you when I'm done. We can stay in bed together all day if that makes you feel better."

Regulus gripped tight on the mans shirt before slowly nodding. He didn’t want to leave the mans side but he knew he was safe with him near. “Ok.” He said as he loosen his grip the man shirt. “Dont be too long.”

Regulus looked up at Victor, his tears streaming freely down his face as he the words came out of his mouth. "My parents... They have come to take me back. Their car, I keep seeing it drive back and forth." He gripped at the back of the man's shirt as he buried his head in his chest once more.

Victor frowned and pulled him close. He huffed and stayed quiet for a moment as he thought about what Regulus said. "They are not coming to get you. I won't let them take you." Victor wasn't going to let Regulus go.

Regulus was afraid, the most he had been in a long time. He thought he had done well, hiding from them. He barely left the hotel room as it was but obviously not.

The young man tilted his head up to look at Victor. "You mean it?" He whispered as he tried to blink the tears from his face.
