“ tsukino usagi, “ she says out loud to try and make the mental image stick with her. hearing the nickname though, she giggles. “ chibiusa it is then !! “ she shifts her bag, despite feeling movement from within, she is quick grab it tight, muttering something in hopes that nobody saw what just happened. the last thing she needed was for her companion to be figured out, all because he also wanted to steal food for himself. having a seat and peeking into her own bag, she makes a face, taking notice that her own bento had been opened and kero had eaten the last of her lunch. 

so much for enjoying her lunch. snapping from her thoughts, she is quick to shut her bag and drop it to the floor, giving it a warning kick, laughing nervously. “ w-where i’m from you ask ?! “ a quick intake of air, she calms herself. “ tomoeda, it’s really close to tokyo. “ staring at the food, her stomach growls again. w o w !! whoever cooked for her seemed like a true talent.

his face turns into a tinge of pink, for a brief moment whilst she leaps into his arms. he truly wondered if she’d forgotten the two of them were competing for the clow cards && not allies. of course, he wouldn’t case Kinomoto as an enemy, but, both of their objectives were the very same and he had no intention of losing anytime soon. regardless, it would be strategic for him to gain as many cards as possible, all syaoran can do is stare back at her and turn away. watching her struggle, lending a hand or help was only to ensure the clow cards didn’t end up to the wrong person. finding zero need to accept her charity as it was.❝ keep it. what’s yours is yours. ❝ his words are sharp, there was no gain in taking what was her victory after all.

          ----------  sakura is uncertain of what to say in response to that. personally, she didn’t see them as competing. they were both simply after the same goal. so if the other deserved something, she wanted to stand by her morals. she truly believed that had it not been for him, she would not have been able to capture the card which was now in their possession. “ I...really think that you should have it,” she replies. “ are you sure ?? “ comes the more innocent question, looking down at the element she now had.

it’s the mentioning of lunch which triggers her stomach to respond on cue. the fact that she was hungry despite having had an incredible breakfast prepped by her older brother this morning wasn’t something unusual for the girl. a light sparkle of excitement in her eyes, being asked to join was super nice of the pretty girl. “ i-if it’s not too much trouble, i’d love to !! “

practice seemed to be going on later than usual, which was starting to take a toll on the young sorcerer. && green azures keep watch, fingers twitch with each twirl of her baton. this time ?? she wasn’t going to be the one to get smacked in the head by the tool. she was going to prove herself, no matter what it took. 

but once again she would get so lost in her head. yet again she thought way too soon and the results ?? w h a m !! crash !! the item she was twirling would come smacking her square on the forehead. dropping to the ground, hands on her head; she released a small cry of pain. “ c-can I be excused ?? “ she requested. once told yes, she departed from the group, making her way to a more secluded area to try and gather herself. “ focus, sakura !! “ she coached.
