Marilyn Monroe on the set of “Clash by Night”, 1952
"I think you’ve got to love people, all kinds of people, to be able to have an opinion about them that’s worth anything. The whole idea of judging people is crazy. We do what we have to do, and we pay for it. We’re no better than we have to be. We can try to be better, and part of trying is not to condemn other people.”
Happy Birthday, Norma Jeane Baker aka Marilyn Monroe! (June 1st, 1926 - ∞)
“Marilyn’s need to be desired was so great that she could make love to a camera. Because of this, her lust aroused lust in audiences, sometimes even among women. There was nothing subtle about it. She was no tease. She was prepared, and even eager, to give what she offered.” — William Manchester HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARILYN MONROE! Marilyn Monroe ( Norma Jeane Mortenson; June 1, 1926 – August 5, 1962)
I love the Immortal Marilyn Fan Club so much and I’m so proud to be apart of it. Here are the beautiful flowers and card at Marilyn’s crypt today, bought through all out donations. I’ve met so many lovely people who have been so kind and supportive and we really are a little family. It’s so nice to be around genuine loving fans who see Marilyn for what she really was and appreciate her beauty inside and out. Thank you for making me feel so welcome when I went to Los Angeles in August 2012, one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. I love you guys, let’s make this day a special one for our girl! 👸
I like celebrating birthdays. I enjoy knowing that I am alive; and you can underline alive. - Marilyn Monroe June 1, 1926
