So it has become apparent to me that I just can’t balance two primary blogs.

I still love Tetsuzora though, and still want to play her so she will be returning back to the multimuse sideblog she was originally in.

@magykalkitsune Informal and colloquial definitely sounds like a good fit for her style of speech. Remembering to have her speak that way and not let my own manner of speech bleed into her (which happens with a lot of my muses) will be the trick. I think having something definite in mind, however, and put into words will help though so many thanks :3

Character Development Outline

Origins and Family

Name: Tetsuzora Nickname: Tetsu Reason for name: Her name means Iron Sky. Birthday: Dunno. Haven’t picked a birthdate for her yet but I think she fits Virgo best so it’d be somewhere around Aug 23-Sept 22. Age: Don’t have an exact age but she’s bordering 3k. Gender: Female I guess. Tetsu wouldn’t really care though. Place of birth: A human kingdom in the Sea World. I should come up with a name. Places lived since: Waaaay too many places. As I said, 3k and she’s traveled a lot. The most significant ones, however, would be her former kingdom, Tosatsu kingdom, the witch world and then her own little ‘space’.

Parents’ names, backgrounds, and occupations

Parents: Tierra (Father, Earth Sorcerer), Cielo (Mother, Sky Witch). Former rulers. Number of siblings: None with left beef. Relationship with family: When she was still human, and they were still alive they pretty much doted on her. Terrible, god awful people, but they did genuinely love their daughter. Unfortunately they were incredibly oversheltering--and to be fair with somewhat understandable reasons. They knew their tyrannical ways were wrong but they didn’t care, and only worried about how their enemies may harm Tetsu so she was pretty much never allowed beyond their castle walls.

Tetsu back then likewise loved them even if she was pretty irritated by the fact she could never leave.

Unfortunately she doesn’t really remember anything about them anymore. While she can no longer forget anything unless she deliberately erases it from her mind, everything before her change is incredibly fuzzy and missing pieces. She doesn’t really care to find out much though, that life is no longer hers and she’s okay with that. Happiest memory: UUuuUUhmmm.....huh. It’s hard to pinpoint one exact memory that would qualify as her happiest. I guess when she realized how strongly she felt for Artamos, and that he held similar views to her about relationships? Tetsu is pretty strongly aro and even when it comes to friendships it is hard for her to feel anything beyond superficial camaraderie with others. Artamos was one of the first people she established a true and deep friendship with. They’re lovers, but just like her Artamos isn’t interested in settling down or becoming monogamous in any way. Childhood trauma: The whole parents being murdered and her being experimented on and having her humanity taken away would probably qualify. Thooough. Since she’s human and this happened when she was in late teens I guess it doesn’t quite count as a childhood trauma, but considering how old most of the other creatures in Mogekoverse are that would definitely qualify as childhood. Children of their own: KEEP CHILDREN AWAY FROM HER. ALL CHILDREN. EVERY CHILD. OUT OUT OUT. Relationship?: Single and it’s staying that way.

Physical

Height: 5′2 /160 cm Weight: A LOT. She’s a machine. Build: Literal box shape. Straight up and down, no curves of any kind, pretty much cylinder limbs. Those weird pod boots she seems to have? Not actually pod boots, those are her actual feet. Disabilities: This question would kinda deserve it’s own post. Complexion: All artificial.  Face shape: Round. Her face is pretty much the only thing that really remains of her former body so it may seem out of place with the rest of her body to the one with keen eyes. Distinguishing facial features: She’s missing an eye! Which she usually keeps behind a patch. She could replace but but she thinks it looks cool, the fucking loser. Hair color: Lavender. Eye color: Also lavender. Glasses/contacts: None. Style of dress: Lazy. When she’s not wearing her witch attire as shown in her profile, she’s literally usually just in sweatpants and a hoodie or some weeb ass shirt. She’s a very modern day witch who has no time for fashion.

Unless we’re talking about getting Kaen cute or cool things, then she’s all about fashion. Health: Not really applicable. She repairs herself most of the time unless something serious happens which she can’t do herself. Then she goes to Merrol. Grooming: Also not really applicable. She keeps herself clean but she doesn’t really need to do much in order to maintain her appearance since it is unchanging. Jewelry, tattoos, piercings: None. Accent: None. Physical habits: Again, nothing really. Habits are hard things to form without any some of chemical process going on.  

Intellect

Level of education: Through the roof. Knowledge would be Tetsuzora’s addiction, so to speak. She had scholars from all over the world, and off the world when she was young and once altered she became a literal computer unable to ever forget anything. Her desire to learn more is what drives her the most and given that she has had near three thousand years of reading, exploring, and learning well. Girl knows a shitton of stuff. Talents: She’s a very powerful witch, ranking up there with Chlomaki, and of course if it’s in anyway related to technology she’s got you covered. Outside of that she’s an excellent gamer and actually pretty good at giving sound advice? Even if it won’t be the nicest, she’ll tell people what they need to hear, not what they want to. Shortcomings: Way too blunt, has a cruel streak, can’t stand children and will honestly just straight up avoid them. I’d say she’s still a rather unsavory person since she’s not really apologetic about the things she has done and mostly withholds because she can’t be bothered most of the time, and she doesn’t want to upset Kaen. So she’s really not trying to change because it’s the right thing to do. Style of speech: BUH. Real talk the hardest thing for me is to write is distinctive dialogue. While what they say is different I know that a lot of my characters unfortunately tend to speak the same way so this is really, really hard. She’s....not formal at all, even when she should be? Damn man, I don’t know. Artistic/mathematical: Mathematical all the way. Makes decisions on emotion or logic: Logic all the way. Life philosophy: --- Religious stance: Well in her canon the Gods and Devils literally walk among mortals so. Their existence can’t really be denied. Whether she dedicates herself to any, however, she definitely does not. The closest thing she has to any sort of respect or fealty would be towards the Daimajo. Cautious/daring: Daring, most definitely. Extrovert/introvert: Extrovert. Level of comfort with technology: LAUGHING. 

Relationships

Relationship status: Single. Sexual orientation: Pansexual aromantic Past relationships: None. Primary reason for being broken up with: She can be pretty damn uncaring to many. Downright cruel in fact. She’s not really one to apologize about important things and her moral compass is pretty skewed. She won’t commit or be monogamous. Primary reason for breaking up with people: She doesn’t really get into official relationships to begin with but. Well if people get too clingy, are overemotional on her and try to stifle her in any way they are out. Level of sexual experience: A.....lot........Tetsu has uh. Lived a long time and been around the block. Many, many times. She’s definitely a hypersexual person but given the obvious she has never experienced straight up sexual pleasure--don’t get me wrong she definitely gets a lot of enjoyment out of sex but it’s more of an emotional thrill than a physical one on her end.

Story of first kiss: Hum, hum. Don’t really have any specifics for this. Maybe one of her tutors? Story of loss of virginity: It happened at some point idk. Most comfortable around who: Artamos and Kaen. Oldest friend: Hmmm. She’s been friends with Tokinome the longest but she’s closer to other people. How do they think others perceive them: Either as someone to be hated, respected, or weirded out by. How do others actually perceive them:  Either as someone to be hated, respected, or weirded out by.....Tetsu is good at reading a room.

Vocation

Profession: Leader | Creator | Game Master | Spectator Past / current occupation(s): Former princess, former protector of Tosatsu Kingdom, current mentor to Kaen. Passions: Kaen, she’s a mega geek so all things pop culture, anime, video games, robots, robutts, tech. Attitude towards current job: She’s very, very happy with it. Salary: She doesn’t receive pay for being Kaen’s mentor, and I imagine that her salary when she was Tosatsu Kingdom’s witch was by being provided with a home and all her necessities. Probably more.

Secrets

Life Goals: Amass more and more and more and more AND THE MOST KNOWLEDGE. Also see Kaen become a full fledged witch. Dreams: She dreams of electric sheep. Nah she doesn’t dream at all. Most ashamed of: As if she has shame. Compulsions: Teasing people, especially Kaen. Obsessions: Teasing people, especially Kaen. Secret hobbies: Nah she doesn’t have a lot of secret anything. Tetsuzora is pretty much upfront about most things if asked? Unless it would compromise her. Like obviously she’s not going to talk about the magic that keeps her together or what exactly her body is comprised of. Secret skills: Nothing I’ve considered at the moment.

Crimes committed: .....a lot.......murder, thievery, enslavement, politically corrupt actions, torture, experimentation....yea she has a colorful history What they most want to change about their current life: She’s pretty happy with her lot in life right now. I suppose she wouldn’t mind being organic again or having some sort of confirmation as to whether she has a soul or not but. Eh. She’st past the stage where she obsesses over knowing that or angsting about the possibility that she might not. What do they most want to change about their physical appearance:. She wants boobs dammit. 

Details

Daily routine:  Turn back on, make sure Kaen and all the bots are okay, see if anything of note is happening in the witch world or any of the ones she frequents, works on her project at that time, teaches Kaen, does some traveling with her, and then just goes with the flow. Might include gaming, moving watching, traveling, who knows. She’s very much one moved by whatever instinct decides to take voer.

Night owl or early bird: Both. Who needs sleep. Light or heavy sleeper: N/A Favorite food: She doesn’t eat. Can’t taste so she doesn’t have one. Least favorite food: See above. Least favorite movie: Honestly all your generic romance movies. Favorite music: Chiptunes. Least favorite music: I don’t really see her having one specific genre she dislikes.  Coffee or tea: Neither. She CAN drink if she wants to, it won’t damage her but why bother? Unless it’s to have drinking competitions without telling anyone she can’t get drunk :’D Crunchy or smooth peanut butter: Neither Lefty or righty: Ambidextreous  Favorite color: Red. Cusser: Sometimes? She doesn’t avoid it. Smoker/drinker/drug user: No. / Only for pranking purposes, as mentioned above. / No. Biggest regret: None. She has a lot she SHOULD be regretful over but she’s just fuck it. I’m not going to waste time bemoaning what is done.

Everything had been going so well. Just the usual between them, talking and teasing–specially from Tetsu’s end–, so normal that the Flame Witch failed to notice the burnt ruins until they were standing over them.

And then she froze, the sight of destruction and the smell of burnt flesh hitting her like a tidal wave and triggering something inside her–inside her brain–that made her step back in fear as her mind went reeling in all directions, unable to focus on one thing at a time. Going back and around and then further back taking weird twists that made her feel dizzy and–

She was standing on a burnt down house. She was crying while a crowd pointed down at her. She couldn’t make out their faces, even if she tilted her head as far back as she could until her small neck hurt with the effort. She was unable to make out what they were saying too, everything just a cacophony of voices filling her small pointy ears. An arm reached down towards her–

And everything was burning.

She doubled over herself and screamed. Or at least it felt like screaming by the way her throat hurt, but she couldn’t hear a thing. Just feel her eyes burning and the putrid smell filling her nostrils and the way her nails dug against her scalp as she grabbed her head trying to get the image out of her head. Maybe if she plucked her eyes out–

Her ragged breathing and speeding heart that threatened to jump out of her chest forced her to stop running–when had she started?–and lean against a tree. She let herself fall on her knees and scrambled around until she was sitting, her back against a tree she wasn’t sure was the same as before.

Everything was still until the sound of boots against ground reached her ears and she looked up towards a shadow, words spilling out of her mouth as her hands clawed at the tree behind her for dear life. Then a voice, a familiar one, saying they didn’t have to go back–was that what she had pleaded? She couldn’t remember her own words.

Kaen blinked, her mind slowing down until she could recognize Tetsu approaching and sitting beside her. For a moment she had the urge to jump back, her body tensing up, but she fought it and stood still. Tetsu wouldn’t hurt her.

It took her another moment, another blink, to make out the words that had left her mentor’s mouth.

– … Talk? – Kaen wondered in a small voice foreign to her, her eyes still fighting to focus on the other witch.

It wasn't the first time that Tetsu had seen this reaction from Kaen. She doubted it would be the last. In her long life it was something she had seen again and again in countless people so she could recognize what it was, even if she did not know why her pupil had such symptoms. In the past she had never really asked before, or suggested they talk though things since she figured that was Kaen's decision to make. If the young witch wanted to talk about it, she'd let her decide the when, where and what.

Tetsuzora wasn't really the kindest person around. While she had come a long way from when she was deliberately cruel, for the most part she still tended not to really care much. Oh, certainly, she would listen to people's problems and dispense advice but it was less out of goodwill, and more why not? With how little she needed to survive with this body of hers, dispensing some words and the occassional aid hardly inconveninced her.

Kaen was the exception.

Seeing her when she got like this was always difficult. She didn't like it. Not one bit.

Kaen was weird. Sometimes Tetsu was almost irritated by how different this girl made her feel. In the past her emotions had been easy, predictable. These days, not so much.

“Talk. If you want to, of course.”

“So… anyone can become a… whatsit- a witch?” Bruce asked, starting to grow more and more intrigued by the moment, wondering only if the other’s level of sincerity matched his inquisitiveness. But, then again, why would the other lie? It wasn’t as if declaring oneself as a witch would save the other’s skin on the off-chance Bruce felt uncharacteristically hungry for witch flesh. 

And so, the innocent pup residing within him couldn’t help but jump at the opportunity to see this power firsthand. Bruce hesitated, only for a show of thoughtfulness before giving a nod.

“That’s right. Not an easy thing, but if you’re willing to work for it I’m sure you can.” She didn’t know of many who had worked for their title as witch, as opposed to being born into it, but it was definitely possible. Likewise, she had seen those born into it, who lost their abilities for never having bothered to hone them.

Once he gave his nod Tetsuzora leisurely ascended till she was a good twenty feet above him. She wondered what sort of thing would interest him the most. She wasn’t so good with water, so despite how she might be able to do some pretty nifty tricks with how much of it was around, she thought she better not test her luck. 

Hmm.

Well, how about this to start off with.

The tech witch drew a circle in the with her finger--it wasn’t really necessary, and more for show. Once she finished the circle, it seemed to come to life and what looked like a dark, purple hole in the sky appeared. Tetsuzora reached her arm through it--

--and said arm appeared from another, similar portal right above Bruce’s head. She gave him a small tap, and then waved.

[火災]➥         Strange occurrences were few and far between in Toad Town. Yet when things did become weird or strayed from the ordinary it wasn’t hard to locate the source. Fortunately the hero in red learned that whichever direction the timid Toads were running in, he should go the opposite to see what was up. Or if he wasn’t in town at all then someone might seek him out. 

          The prior could easily be applied here. A casual stroll led him here this afternoon and not too far into it the panicked screams began. Toads were shuffling to get away from whomever or whatever it was that startled them. For only a moment Mario stopped to observe it all but then his gaze came up from the crowd and he was encountered with the person. The female. Her appearance alone was enough to make the Toads flee yet she seemed friendly. 

         Here they were,the both of them, completely different from the crowd they stood among. Mario fixed his posture and flashed this unknown a smile. Despite not knowing her fully he was quick to greet. 

          ❝Hello-a! You must-a be new here.❞ Twas an assumption. A safe one considering this ongoing reaction.  ❝I’m-a Mario. What’s-a your name?❞

There we go! Someone brave enough to approach her, and a friendly looking one at that. Tetsuzora was quick to return the smile. He looked different from all the other civilians she had seen thus far, but many of them seemed to relax once she made his presence known. How curious!

“Hello there, Mario. The name is Tetsuzora.” She answered, jutting a thumb towards herself.

“This crowd seems pretty skittish. They not use to outsiders, I take it?” It would be a lie to say that she didn’t like to cause mischief here and there--old habits die hard, after all, but that wasn’t what she sought today. Just a thirst for knowledge and when there was something she knew little about, Tetsu aimed to fix it.

“A witch?” the shark asked, tilting his head to the side inquisitively. “S’that yer species? Ye look like a human more than anythin’ else,” Bruce observed, most of the other’s words flying over his head, especially in regards to this ‘Pitch Witch’ character and broom. What were brooms, anyway? It had something to do with a stick?

“And… I take it that.. magic’s ‘ow ye’re able to do all that?” Bruce asked, not without stifling a tone of skepticism in his voice. After all, magic was something of a pup’s tale. Of fables and nursery rhymes and bedtime stories. Nothing in regards to reality.

“No, not exactly. While most are born into it, a witch is something that anyone can become with the right amount of dedication. If you wanted to, you could too!” Considering his reaction, Tetsuzora could tell that he was dubious about her claim, but it was true. She wondered what sort of witch he would become if he were so inclined--she would have to say that it would be a first to see a shark become one. Shark familiars she had seen, yes, so perhaps it wasn’t  all that unusual a prospect.

“Magic it is, indeed. Would you like me to show you some?”
