i had been wondering for quite some time how you were feeling because it had been a while since i heard those words~ even tho me being annoying mostly comes down to your incredibly low patience levels ! im feeling a sense of relief after almost heading down a path of worry :> phewf

in other news we had such a wonderful time on holiday england -> poland -> germany -> canada... the effort you made with my family didn't go unnoticed and the way ol gave you cuddles and you patted his head brought tears to my eyes :''''''> i was filled with that dreaded feeling of guilt when we were due to leave so i mumbled to you in the car that i wish we could stay "i know..." i wonder if we're closer to that being true?

what happened? how did we even get to a point where separating could creep into the picture? i could burst with all kinds of feelings thinking about where we're at right now and although it's not perfect, it doesn't have to be <3

since i wrote my last entry - i fear that my great love, that has spanned 12 years, is coming to an end and im doing everything i can to accept that

how i wish things were different, how i wish you would have tried like you said you were going to, i can't live up to your expectations but i wish you could see that not one single person is perfect. i look past faults of yours because i'm able to see the bigger, more important picture. im not sure where to put all of this love that i hold for you ~ it's morphing into intense uncontrollable sadness and trying to pour out. perhaps it is better to lose it all at once like that, along with any hope that i may have.

it has been a while since i was here. if im honest i don’t ever think of this place much anymore but i had the urge to write this down so that if there comes a time when i need it, i can find it.

we saw in the new year in the best possible way, relaxing together at home, my home, will this year possibly bring our home? that can be a thought for another day. anyway, our time together is rare, i cherish it, hold it so close for when regular time has us doing those things that are needed for survival, meaning we aren’t able to see each other. after a few drinks i mumbled with almond and peach breaths that i had a feeling you were my great love then decided to bury myself to hide the embarrassment radiating. it was too late, i was probably emitting blushes unable to be blocked by anything... “i think you’re the one” and with that we spent the rest of the night in bliss :>
