I kinda like how different Beef Season 2 is. I feel like you kinda need that for an anthology series to not feel like it's essentially a reboot of the same story. But I do also wonder, if I was watching this having never heard of the show before, would I have found it as gripping as season 1. I think the only reason I'm still watching it is trust they accumulated from the first season

Time does not heal all wounds. Grief is just like a sink full of dirty dishes or a pile of soiled laundry. Grief is a chore you have to do, and it’s a messy one, at that.
Bright Young Women, Jessica Knoll
Made this awhile ago and I keep forgetting to post it lmao
A soft tender confession whispered into a deafened ear, im obsessed with this scene
"the imaginary or hypothetical harm that we believe a black person to be capable of enacting will always be less socially acceptable than the harm we know for a fact white people materially cause" the movie.

MAIKA MONROE as LEE HARKER in LONGLEGS (2024) & JODIE FOSTER as CLARICE STARLING in SILENCE OF THE LAMBS (1991)

It’s just so funny to me that like. All the other iterations of Hannibal are only too happy to be cold bastards who want to mess with Will Graham like a mouse in a lab maze at most. But tv Hannibal wanted someone to match his freak almost pathetically badly. And tv Will just happened to match his freak in a way that was lethal to the general public 💀

Never getting over the fact that Bryan Fuller said he kind of had to fight the producers to cast Mads Mikkelsen as Hannibal and their reasoning was "he's euro-weird and kind of creepy" my brother in Christ. WHAT do you think Hannibal Lecter is if not Euro-weird and kind of creepy?!??!?!?
