Thinking about what a weird and beautiful time it was to be 16 and starting hormones. Trans healthcare saves lives.
I've been messing around more with some mixed media work. Trying to see how my different mediums and styles can come together.
16! And starting hormones!
OP what a joy for you. What would it have been like to start this journey 15 years earlier? So much grief, so much wasted time.
I’m incredibly blessed to live in a state (CA) where that was a possibility and with family and physicians who have always been so, so wonderfully supportive. It fills me with so much sadness and rage that those experiences (which should be the norm for any child) are unattainable for so many. It is nothing but cruel to put trans people through that trauma.
Wishing you the best. 💛
