This account hasnāt been active in years and I wanted to apologize for just disappearing- Iāve never left tumblr, just wasnāt writing and posting anymore. Iāll be honest, I just overwhelmed myself with too many fandoms, characters and just couldnāt say no to requests most of the time.
When I started this blog, I was around 14 or 15 and back then I believed to be a lesbian- as I became a adult, I realized Iām bi but by then, my blog was mostly wlw and felt so bad about writing for some men as well.
That being said, Iāve never stopped writing, I love the freedom of it, being able to express so much with words, create stories and share them. Iāve had this blog since 2015 and by the end, most of my followers were inactive and it just felt discouraging to have over 4k followers and barely anyone interacting anymore.
Iāve made a side blog a bit ago, I ~ might start posting my stories there. I will not deactive this one, it has too much works, memories and such.
@dvthomir is the said side blog, youāre welcome to follow, come in my ask to talk, ask stuff and maybe send a request? I wonāt make any promise of anything being written though, it will only depends if I feel inspired to write it.
In case I do actually start posting there, it will only concern Star Wars, DC and the Boys.
I just wanted to finish this post by a huge thank you if weāve ever interacted, if youāve ever read, liked, commented on my fics- you guys helped me through so much shit! I love you all ā¤ļø
Synopsis; youāve always been fascinated by dragons, admiring them from afar but never dared to get close until your friend, Rhaenyra decided to change that.
Pairing; Rhaenyra Targaryen x reader
This is so self indulgent but Millyās Rhaenyra is so dear to me <3
Ever since you could remember, you had a fascination for dragons, but in all honesty, how could you not? They were majestic creatures, beautiful and terrifying by their sizes. You had heard and read many tales about them, the battles they fought and won along with their riders, the riderless dragons and some old myths.
One of your favorite pastimes was watching the dragons fly, it didnāt exactly occur everyday but whenever you had the opportunity to watch them in the sky, you enjoyed it. Never really daring to come closer to the dragonpit, you hadnāt gotten near a dragon yet, and it wasnāt something you minded, as beautiful they were, they were equally terrifying.
It was amusing really, how your friend Rhaenyra, would tell you about her flights atop her dragon, Syrax. The way she talked about her dragon, you would never think she was this impressively big and tough creature which could kill you in the blink of an eye if willing to.
But honestly, the most amusing part about all this was that you, who never dared to approach the dragons you saw and were fascinated by, had befriended a Targaryen, whose House was represented by dragons and were known to ride them.
Rhaenyra was amused by your fear of dragons and had teased you about it many times, but never to make fun of you- she understood why people feared dragons when they werenāt born or grew up around them. The Princess tried a couple of times to bring you to the dragonpit, she tried to convince you, even bribe you but she would never force you.
She would love to give you a ride on her dragonās back, she wanted to share this part of her with you but would wait until you would be ready to meet Syrax. Deep down, she was convinced that one day, you two would fly above the Sea together.
Sitting in your favorite spot, you were safely admiring from afar the Dragonpit, as you had gotten here later than usual, you wondered if Rhaenyra had already left with her dragon. Watching her pet Syrax before flying away was what you enjoyed watching the most, the Princessā bond with her dragon was beautiful.
In a way, they were similar and maybe, that was why their bond seemed to be so special- both of them were majestic and tough, while also being kind, as kind as a dragon could get obviously. You hadnāt gotten to hear Rhaenyra speaks Valyrian many times, but the few times you did, you had been subjugated, the language you didnāt understand rolled off her tongue so smoothly, you couldāve listened to her speak this foreign language for the whole day.
ā What could possibly make my dear friend smile?ā questioned a voice- the voice you loved to hear the most as she sat down next to you.
ā My apologies Princess, I was lost in my thoughts.ā
Rhaenyra scrunched up her nose, hearing her title, you always liked to use her title here and there- it suited her so well, ā you know I like Nyra better when Iām with you.ā
ā I know, but Princess suits you so well, Iām enjoying using it while I can, one day youāll be Queen Rhaenyra.ā
ā If that was to happen, Iād still be Nyra to you.ā
You smiled fondly, hearing that no matter her title or position in the hierarchy, your relationship wouldnāt change, ā and Iād always be by your side.ā
A comfortable silence settled between the two of you, it was something you deeply enjoyed with Rhaenyra- you didnāt always have to talk to enjoy each other company.
Her hand gently rested on top of yours, earning your attention as you raised a brow at her sudden gesture- not that you minded, the Princess gave you a sheepish smile, ā would you do me the honor to visit Syrax with me today?ā
ā You know what my answer to this is already.ā
ā Please? For your Princess?ā
It was always hard to deny her request when it came to accompany her to the dragonpit, you knew how much it would mean to her but your fear always took over you and you just couldnāt agree to do such, ā do you wish to see me make a fool out of myself? I would be terrified this near to Syrax, or any dragon for that matter.ā
ā Nonsense! You would never make a fool of yourself. Syrax is a good girl, she will like you.ā
ā And if she does not?ā
ā She will. And even if she did not, she would never harm you. She knows I care deeply for you.ā
Your heart swelled upon hearing these words, you never doubted that Rhaenyra cared about you, but hearing the affirmation was pleasant nonetheless. She meant more than the Seven Kingdoms to you and you hoped she was aware of it.
As you remained quiet for a little bit, Rhaenyra took it as a silent agreement, that you finally gave in- which wasnāt really the case, but seeing how the Princessā face lit up as she bounced off the place she was sitting next to you, you didnāt have the heart to tell her she misunderstood.
And there you were, minutes later, walking in the dragonpit, the very place you swore to never walk into- but seeing how excited she was for you to finally meet Syrax, it was endearing and giving you enough bravery to not cower away at the very last moment.
ā Do not hesitate to tell me if you are too scared, the last thing Iād want is for you to keep a bad memory from this meeting.ā
You were already scared and apprehending meeting the dragon, so much that you knew words would fail you if you attempted to talk- all you could offer was a thankful nod to your friend, appreciating that she was willing to let you back out if it was your wish, at any moment.
As Rhaenyra called out for Syrax, your heart was pounding in your chest and breathing became harder for you- the dragon was huge, bigger than you imagined when youād see her from afar but she was also way prettier than what you expected. Syrax didnāt show any sign of distrust as she came closer as Rhaenyra was by your side.
ā Do you trust me, my dear?ā
It was such a simple question, and you couldnāt even begin to think if you trusted her- it was impossible to imagine not trusting Rhaenyra. If you hadnāt been so intimidated by the dragon standing in front of your very eyes, maybe you wouldāve realized she didnāt ask this randomly, ā of course I do, with my life.ā
Rhaenyraās hand found yours, the same way it did when you were both sitting at the place you enjoyed to watch the dragons from. You didnāt exactly register your friendās intention yet, believing it was just to reassure you.
ā Rytsas, Syrax. Bisa iksos Y/N, issa jorrĆ£elagon raqiros, ziry iksos zÅ«gagon yn jĆ£hor gaomagon daor Ådrikagon.ā
Not understanding a single word Rhaenyra had just said, you were left mesmerized by the way she so gently spoke to the dragon whom huffed as if to reply to her rider. However, you could kind of imagine what your friend said to Syrax when the Princess smiled warmly at you and placed your hand against Syraxā yellow scales.
It was terrifying really, you froze right there, not sure what you should do or not do, but as terrified as you were, you were also marveled by the dragon- she didnāt seem to dislike your touch or even mind it, allowing your hand to stay on her. You dared to do something you never thought off and slowly moved your hand against her scales, essentially petting the creature.
ā Sheās beautiful.ā
A smile spread across Rhaenyraās face as she heard your statement, when you looked at her, her eyes were shining bright with happiness, ā she is, indeed!ā
ā What did you tell her?ā you couldnāt help your curiosity, you wished you could understand High Valyrian to share the language with the Princess and speak it with her freely.
ā I told Syrax your name and that you were scared but meant no harm.ā
It made sense this was what she told her dragon, in a way, this had been a sort of presentation, to know you werenāt a threat. You nodded to your friendās explanation, you were still amazed to be so close to a dragon, albeit not as scared as you had been right before meeting Syrax.
ā Would you perhaps like to fly with me?ā
The Princessā question was just as hopeful as her eyes were as she asked this, and you just couldnāt bring yourself to say no to her, ā promise me we will not fly too high?ā
Synopsis; youāve been loyal to Rhaenyra since you were children, becoming lovers later on. After the tragedy of Stormās Ends, she doesnāt have to mourn alone.
Warnings; grief, death ( lucerysā ), guilt, Daemon and Rhaenyra never got married.
Pairing; Rhaenyra Targaryen x reader
I havenāt written much in years and am very rusty, however the got / hotd hyperfixation never left and here I am writing again. Please forgive any mistakes, and how short this is.
Grief was devastating to say the least, especially when the one youāre mourning happens to be your child. You shared Rhaenyraās pain and grief to an extent, although you couldnāt imagine how she felt learning the death of Lucerys. He was such a young child still, eager to help his mother and make her proud, only to unfairly die alongside his dragon.
Many times in the past, you had been Rhaenyraās rock, helping her through everything- from her motherās death to holding her hand as she gave birth. It always had been her and you against this cruel world and this would never change, but having to stay strong for your Queen was tougher than ever- a part of you was getting eaten up by the guilt, you should have been the one sent to Stormās End.
You werenāt a dragonrider per se, but over the years, Syrax and you bonded and she let you ride her even without Rhaenyraās presence, although this was a rare occurrence. One day, many moons ago, your lover told you Syrax could feel the love you had for one another and that was the reason she liked you so much.
You shouldnāt have let Lucerys rides Arrax to Stormās Ends, it was obviously dangerous and you let the worst happen- for that, you would never be able to forgive yourself. If only you had insisted to be the messenger, the boy would be safe and with his mother. Learning the context of how Lucerys died, killed by Aemond Targaryen, made you drown in even more guilt as he most likely wouldnāt have harmed you, he had no revenge to seek out on you.
Riding Syrax was something you had done countless times, your arms wrapped around Rhaenyraās waist tightly, the wind caressing your face as you would enjoy the beautiful view- it was one of the things you enjoyed the most but this time was unlike all the ones before. Rhaenyra and you were here, on Stormās Ends to recover Lucerysā remains if there was any left.
Your eyes closed tightly as Syrax neared the beach where fishermen were going through their finds of the day. Your heart tightened as you could make out what resembled a dragonās wing on the sand, covered by a fishing net. The impending confirmation of what had happened in the sky of Stormās Ends was terrifying you, you werenāt ready to bid farewell to one of the children you helped raise.
Your beloved had mostly been silent since her uncle, Daemon told her of Lucerysā fate after delivering the message. This moment was replaying in your head, Rhaenyraās words echoing in your ears.
All the close members of the Queen Rhaenyra Targaryenās council were attending the meeting- council whose members were essentially composed of Lords, the Queen herself and you. You werenāt a soldier, a Lord or anything of the sort but wherever the Queen went, you accompanied her, advising her if she asked for your input.
When Daemon interrupted the meeting by his entrance in the room, and simply by the look on his face, you could tell he was the bearer of awful news for the Queen. This was proven true mere seconds later as he informed Rhaenyra and you of the death of Lucerys.
Rhaenyra remained silent, staggering ever so slightly, trying to accept what had happened, what the fate of her young son had been. When she turned around, facing her council, you could discern the pain on her face, even if it was hidden under her anger and need of vengeance.
Your heart shattered into thousands of pieces when you heard the news Daemon was bringing. Rhaenyraās sons might not have been yours biologically wise, but you had helped raising them and always loved them as if they were yours.
ā I want Aemond Targaryenā was the only thing the Queen said to the council that terrible night, and quite honestly the most she had said since she learnt what had happened to her dear son.
As soon as Syrax landed on the sand, next to the fishermen and smallfolk who ran for their lives immediately after they saw the yellow dragon approaching the beach. Rhaenyra was the first to land on her feet, directly heading for the fishing nets you noticed when flying atop the dragon. You rushed after your lover, quickly catching up- she dropped on her knees, taking off the nets from the remaining of Arraxās wing and what resembled of Lucerysā clothes.
Rhaenyra broke into sobs, the reality of her sonās passing dawning on her, mourning him as she held the clothes tightly against her chest. It was your turn to drop on your knees, right next to your lover, whom you held close, she leaned into your embrace as you mourned alongside her, finally allowing the tears to flow down your eyes freely.
Syrax watched the scene from where she landed, roaring her pain and grief away, both from sharing Rhaenyraās emotions as well as mourning Arrax, her own son.
Hey :)) would you write a Rhaenyra x sister!reader where Rhaenyra gets jealous when reader takes Alicent on Dragonback? Maybe hints of something not platonic at all?
im not sure iād be comfortable with writing incest even just by hinting it, I like the request so Iāll write it but there wonāt be anything romantic involved btw rhae and her sister!readerš
Hello! I had in mind this: Alicent wanting to explore her sexuality (nothing explicit if you donāt want to) and asks reader to be her āsecret loverā just to spite Rhaenyra cause she knows she cares about her. So reader oblige. Making them start for Godās sake another quarrelā¦
Reader trying to get along with their children and bond. (With both Alicentās and Rhaenyraās)
ohhhhh the drama iām going to write with this request, i love it!!
Request for young Queen Alicent pls? Where sheās shy and repressed around Reader because sheās trapped in an unhappy marriage. But then Reader brings her out of her shell?
yessss i can already imagine how this will go š
Can I request a Rhaenyra x gender neutral reader where Rhaenyra is upset by something that happened in court like maybe her dad was saying she needs to fix her bad reputation or she has been acting childish and Rhaenyra goes to the reader for comfort. I can see Rhaenyra having a front of being all tough but then when it comes to the reader she just melts and wants to be looked after.
hiii! can i request for rhaenyra and gn reader. were rhaenyra nd r are 'enemies'. rhaenyra pretend to hate them not until when she sees the r and alicent together under the tree (like that one scene wit alicent and rhae) talking. she get jealous and confronts the reader at their chamber (at night) and like start yelling at her and the reader kiss her to shut her up and they sleep together.
