This is a two tier system. There is the PPL and Porn League Division 2 (PL2).
Normally, the top 5 pornstars from PL2 will be promoted to the PPL. If unforeseeable circumstances arise (like in Season 1) or if pornstars are retired for more than a year more pornstars will be promoted than just the automatic 5.
With 5 pornstars being promoted that means in the PPL the bottom 5 ranked pornstars are relegated.
In PL2 the bottom 6 pornstars are relegated out of the competition and are replaced by new pornstars.

Since Lansky doesn't offer 1 year deals we will cut the Brazzers price in half to compare with his 180 days membership. So for a hypothetical $60 180 day Brazzers membership you receive 360 scenes. At Lansky's sites for almost double the cost you receive just 36 scenes. That is robbery.
Returning to Kayla's scene. It takes glow in the dark effects and adds it to porn. It makes the effect work with the pornstar, not the pornstar working with the effect. Porn is already an art form. It has its own style and set of characteristics. Kayla wasn't positioned in a way to mimic glow in the dark art.
