Following the old statement that "Italians do it better," fashion icon has released one of the funnest advertisements of the year with a pop song titled "Fashion Shower."

The quirky 2.5 minute long video is part last year's Lanvin commercial mixed with a bit of outfit change montage mixed in for extra fun. Staying true to the theme of the collection, the video is extravagant and filled with gold and turquoise colors.

As stated before, the collection goes on sale October 4th!

First Look of Maison Martin Margiela for H&M

The much anticipated Maison Martin Margiela for H&M collection has finally been given a quick sneek peek thanks to a blogger who scanned an image from an issue of French Elle. Following the announcement earlier this year of the collection, little more had been spoken on what is bound to be a bigger hit than last year's Versace for H&M collection.

The dress itself, is a rather deconstructed asymmetrical piece that stays true to the companies trademark anti-fashion aesthetic.

The full collection is scheduled to hit 230 stores around the world, as well H&M's brand new online shop November 15. Until then, fashion lovers(and Kanye West) must wait for the release of more promotional material as soon as H&M deems that it is time for them to see the light of day.

Anna Dello Russo for H&M is Coming

In just over a month, fans of Anna Dello Russo(the self proclaimed Biblioteche of Fashion) will be able to pick up her accessories collection for H&M. Set to hit stores on October 4th, little had been seen or heard from the collection following it's announcement earlier this year.

Although, some may have remembered seeing Anna frolicking around Couture Week decked out in a slew of accessories and carrying a beautiful piece of luggage will be glad to know that every single one of those pieces(except for the gorgeous Oscar De La Renta gown) will be available for their consumption in a few weeks.

Vogue Russia has just released images from their photoshoot with Anna revolving around the collection. 

Personal favorites include a crocodile necklace(very Maria Felix), a necklace with Anna written in crystals in addition to a large deer charm, the luggage set, and the bejeweled minaudieres.  For those fans of Anna Dello Russo, this collection is a must have due to it staying true to her signature style. For those fans of H&M, this can act as the appetizer to the much hyped Martin Margiela collection being released just a couple of weeks later.

Fashion's Night Out Superhero

To celebrate Fashions Night Out, as well as the launch of his new Fall Collection, Phillip Lim(3.1 Phillip Lim) is giving away copies of a unique signed comic book to customers online at in store this Thursday. Additionally, unsigned copies are being given away(while supplies last). Pick one up before it's too late!

Although most comic book fans would see this special edition book as a throwaway, they can rest assured that it has been created by some of the industry's most talented individuals. Jan Duursuma(of Star Wars Comic Book) fame was put in charge of illustrating the book, meanwhile Phillip Lim and John Ostrander(of Suicide Squad, and Star Wars:Legacy fame) co-wrote the one of a kind book.

The fashion crowd on the other hand, can rest assured knowing that a large majority of the upcoming collection will be presented in a drawn form in one of the most unique giveaways for this year's Fashion's Night Out event.

John Galliano Fighting Back

Following this week's earlier news that John Galliano would be stripped of his Légion d'Honneur, one of France's highest honors, it has been revealed that the disgraced designer is suing his former employer for 15 million Euros.

Though the revocation of his Légion d'Honneur was directly connected to his infamous trial for antisemitic remarks, Dior nor Galliano will reveal of his lawsuit is connected to his dismissal from the house he helmed for over 15 years. The suit itself was filed with the French Labour Court which deals with disputes relating to performance and breach of contract between employers of employees.

As some in the fashion industry await his return to designing, the one thing that is certain is that Galliano's next presentation will be at a courthouse almost two years after the faithful night that led to his dismissal from the house of Dior. A hearing is schedules for February 02, 2013 in Paris.

Carine's Grand Return

Following her departure from French Vogue in late 2010, fashion icon Carine Roitfeld has done everything but hide from the spotlight. However, this upcoming month is quickly shaping to be one of her biggest "Fashion Week" months to date.

In addition to her expected presence at the most important shows, Carine is launching not only a brand new magazine(CR Fashion Book), but a beautiful collection for MAC cosmetics in the coming weeks.

The launch of her magazine/book has been getting hyped in the past couple of months with .gifs of models such as Lara Stone, as well as teaser trailers featuring her walking to and from shows all around the world. Seeing that under her tenure, French Vogue was known for it's edgy ground breaking spreads, the new magazine is expected to quickly become one of the industry's newest treasures. Physical subscriptions start at $15, with digital subscriptions currently being sold at the bargain price of$5.

In addition to the magazine, this past week MAC unveiled a limited edition collection of makeup, and accessories due to be released in stores September 06(however, you can order online starting today). Prices range between $15 for a Kohl Eye Pencil, to $44 for compacts with 5 different colors within them. All of them are packaged in sleek containers, with Carine's current logo of her CR signature(which can also be seen as the logo of the magazine).

Now the waiting game begins to see what she will wear to the upcoming shows not that she is back in the role of editor.
